The palace the staff the view the location was great , it was a technical issue with the TV but the staff fix it immediately , its only 15-20 minutes from Annecy , there is free parking and valet, I’d highly recommended and I’ll visit the palace again

We were here for a wedding celebration. The positive aspects start with the great location and end with the excellent valet service. Rooms are awful, even dangerous, with the very low angular ceilings and beams, risking breaking your head. No control on air conditioning. Water dripping. Shower doesn’t stay up. WC flushing inadequate. Food - substandard. Staff response poor. Some even haughty. Wedding dinner card printed with gross errors. Summary: Five star pricing with two star quality.

Wallid, The gentleman who took charge of our Car and baggage made us feel like honoured guests. He made us feel welcomed and after a few minutes of conversation we made an instant connection that lasted until the following day when he again helped us with our car and bade us a heartfelt goodbye. This is the type of service that we received throughout our stay at this property.

Unbelievable service - fantastic location - couldn’t recommend this place anymore !!! The staff are so attentive and really care - nothing is too much - don’t look anywhere else just book this hotel !!! My room looked over the forest to the rear - next time I’ll be booking a lake view

Our stay was perfect. Such a beautiful location and hotel. We had a lovely forest view room and breakfast. We stayed for a week and the breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was amazing. The staff were so attentive and made our trip so special.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Beautiful hotel, very responsive and helpful staff (answered any query and booked all the activities/ restaurants we needed) and great location on the water. I recommend getting the water taxi to Annecy - very James Bond way of arriving!

Called ahead of booking to ask about a lake view room with balcony (images showed this), was told that all lake view rooms have balconies…. Arrived at the property and was “awarded” room 408 which has a very small window and no balcony, contacted staff to seek a remedy…. None available…. The room is about 15m2 (exc the very small bathroom and wc of which it is difficult to close the door once inside) and extremely drab with low level fittings….. the setting is amazing, if the “palace” did not have a pool and mediocre gym then the star rating in my opinion and based on other 5 star properties would at best be a strong 3 star, the problem is they charge high end prices (approx £1000 for 2 nights ro), the breakfast at €35 was as disapointing as our cell (room), 2 poached eggs, 1 roll, small bowl of muesli……. If you are going to annecy and you value location over service and quality of accomadation then the “palace” will tick your boxes, if however you like the extra little touches that high end 5 star properties at this price point should offer then maybe think twice, if nothing else you should ensure that 408 is not your room to avoid having your anniversary weekend ruined…. Well done Palace de Menthon you will for the wrong reasons live long in the memory !! (Ps don’t dare ask to park your vehicle out front next to the Aston martin or Porsches the look of contempt you may receive is not very pleasant

Everything was up to the standard in regards of the staff. Really high. However, the place could be more clean, the also could provide anti mosquito spray. Also, i would love to come next time and they privied variety of options in regards of food for muslims. There was nothing Halal unfortunately.

We stayed in this fabulous hotel for 3 nights in July 2024, the view is a heaven on earth, the most beautiful view I've ever seen. However, the staff are not well trained. Not able to answer inquiries, and so slow. Such hotel should be better equipped with good services. The breakfast is less than basic compared to a 5 star hotel, I was disappointed with the variety and the slow speed to refill the empty serving plates. The restaurant is very nice and good food but service is slow in every aspect. The location is not in Annecy Center but it has a very easy access and honestly the beauty in this area is in the saint Bernard, Menthon and Talloires. I recommend this hotel strongly. A.
