알 아키크 마디나 호텔(Al Aqeeq Madinah Hotel)

The room was small compared to the other rooms I booked through another booking engine. The toiletries were different too. The front desk were incompetent. The housekeeping and bellmen were good.

The location of the hotel is so special because it’s to close to Al haram and all shops. I had some issues in the begining , but it was quick resolved by miss renad from guest relation and miss soha al ekali from house keeping . I really appreciate how they treat my issues and how they made me and my family happy to come back again to this hotel. I think it’s normal to face issues in hotels , but it’s very important to feel that the staff are caring about the hotel and the guests. Well done

Locationwise, it is very close to the women’s entrace at door No 17. We just have to cross the street and you are into the haram. Room service and housekeeping are very responsive. The staff come as soon as you call them each time. The room is spacious although together with the bathroom look a bit old. You have a large variety of food for breakfast.

We were on level 14 ,twin bedroom suites, hotel is excellent, very clean and staff is very friendly and just few steps away from harram. House keeping boys Bilal and Ismaeel on level 14 made our stay very comfortable.they cleaned our room everyday and refilled shampoos and conditioners/teas/towels. They have everything in the room fridge freezer, iron,hair dryer. We will recomwned it to everyone going there for Umrah. Hope this review will help you to find the perfect hotel. Jzk

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Otherwise it’s absolutely horrible. The room is absolutely filthy. The bathroom needs to be demolished it is so old. I think the hotel hasn’t been renovated or refurbished since the day it was built. There are no words to describe how ugly the hotel is. So I’m going to send pictures instead.

Not a 5 Star hotel- We had three rooms. Check in is at 4pm, so we had to wait to check in. The process was fine. Location is ideal, less than a minutes walk to the haram. The rooms are spacious. We stayed for a week, and the cleaners gave up cleaning our rooms after about three days. They kept saying they will clean later. The room wasn’t cleaned and the debs were not made. We asked for towels and they gave us as and when we requested. The bathroom was old, showers not working too well, couldn’t really control the water temperature. Some dated half length shower curtains were there but half the water got in to the bathroom. Basin and the tap are horrible, always leaking. Toilet needs updating badly, had to flush a few times every time you use it. Breakfast is not very nice and way too overcrowded. At busy times we couldn’t get tables or plates. Had to wait for them to wash plates, this happened more than once. Also not much of verity or taste, certainly not what you would expect from a 5* hotel.

Very bad hotel, don’t deserve the money that we payed for it. Dust was every where, the quality of the breakfast is so weak, even you have to pay for the capsule of coffee, strange….after having a beautiful days in Makkah, we were shocked by the quality of this hotel.

The hotel location is very close to the Haram. The hotel is clean and has good scent and many elevators. The hotel staff are very helpful specially Suha or Salwa, reception employee (if I'm not mistaken). I requested some some water bottles but the room boys were in a break and she brought the water herself. There is Starbucks in the lobby that would be better if replaced with a local brand coffee shop. I was given a room in the executive floor and it's good and clean. However, the furniture and carpet look old, the shower does not 100% contain the water, so there was water on the floor outside the bathtub when I took shower, the shower gel, shampoo, soap, and other stuff are very good. The beds were very soft but not comfortable. The lobby and amenities could be better. It was difficult to connect to the WiFi and it's slow as it looks to be overloaded. The staff are welcoming and like to serve the guests. They need a faster way to check-in, checkout and attend requests or guests problems.
