호텔 퀸타 데 산 아마로(Quinta de San Amaro Rias Baixas)

San Amaro would ask pilgrims he sheltered, “Where is Heaven on Earth?”. To which the answer now would be, “Here, at this Quinta in Meaño”. The owner and his excellent team have created a holiday paradise amid the vineyards of the Rías Baixas.

As a party of 6 we stayed here for two nights. This included two breakfast and two evening meals. All meals were extremely good. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. Accommodation was extremely comfortable. The hotel is beautifully with lots of interesting finishing touches, making it a unique place to stay.

This is a charming boutique hotel. The owner has added both charm and style to every aspect of this converted farm complex. The gardens each have something to offer the traveller and the whole place gives a feeling of space and is thoughtfully decorated. The room we had came with vaulted ceiling and a plus for weary walkers, a very comfortable queen sized bed. There were adequate power points but like many similar locations on the route no kettle and therefore no in-room coffee and tea service! The bathroom was fair sized with an excellent shower. For those in the lower two storey rooms (like us) the wooded floors means you can hear those above you... The Quinta includes a small open pool with a pleasing lounge area. There is an indoor lounge area as well. Our package for two nights included evening meals. The were exceptional. Well prepared and delivered. However, the breakfast buffet was beautifully presented and included– sliced breads and one kind of roll, a nice selection of charcuterie and cheeses, quality cut fruit, a couple of types of pastry and almond cake. Both were served in the restaurant area which is also open to non-staying guests. Nicho, the owner, has established a very pleasant and charming place to spend a couple of days. We loved it.

We stayed here for 5 nights while touring Galicia, and it was a wonderful experience. We had the Villa, and it was enormous! It has a huge kitchen and living room, as well as a good sized bedroom and large bathroom. The breakfasts were very good, although when it was busy we had to wait to get our coffee and juice. They cooked scrambled eggs on request. They also serve dinners, which were excellent. Teresa in reception was very helpful in that she recommended local areas to visit. She was also invaluable when we had a problem with our rental car. The pool area is nice, although we did not get in the water. We took advantage of the winery tour which was included in our reservation, and it was great! We would definitely stay here again if we visit the area in the future.

Truly amazing - what a find thanks to our Camino tour with Inntravel. Beautiful hotel in the country with lovely rooms, brilliant food and wine including Albariño, swimming pool and massage. A short trip to a great winery and local town. It would be an amazing place for a group of people to stay

Once again, its a great pleasure to be back. The team is faboulous. The rooms are spacious, always clean and very comfortable. Its perfect for a weekend couple getaway or a family reunion. Very close to the amazing beaches and magical galician coastline.

We visited the hotel for three nights while touring Rais Baixas. Excellent hotel, lovely quiet room with country views. Excellent spread for breakfast every morning and we ate dinner in the Restaurant all three nights. Worked our way through the menu with no disappointments! Good food, good service and thoroughly recommended and an excellent central point for exploring the area.

This is a little gem of a hotel, set in attractive grounds with a lovely rural view. The room I stayed in, which had a balcony, was fantastic. I found the staff and owner to be both friendly and attentive. The food was also excellent. The choice at breakfast was amazing and the evening meals delicious. This was not the most expensive hotel of my trip, but it was by far the best in every respect. I am hoping to go back again one day.

Our favourite hotel of 8 we stayed in on a recent trip to Spain and Portugal. The lovely Quinta de San Amaro welcomed us for a two day rest on an Inntravel walking holiday. Nacho and Teresa helpfully arranged trips and taxis for us, speaking very good English compared to our patchy Spanish. The hotel was smart and pretty, set a little way from the Camino de Santiago Variante Espiritual in a small town inland from the coast and in the heart of Albarino vineyards. The grounds were delightful, dotted with interesting places to sit among the flowers and including a small swimming pool with loungers which was in use in May (not the case in all our hotels). Our room was beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished and we enjoyed restful sleeps. All rooms were individually styled, some had balconies. We ate 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners here and they were the best of our trip - really exceptional. A great deal of thought and effort has gone into making this boutique hotel of 14 rooms a real haven. Well worth a visit.
