Beds are very soft and comfortable The room was clean and had been updated. The remote did not have batteries and so the TV did not work I did not botger asking for help regarding that. The hotel did not have any Federal/Military room rates. They did give me an AARP discount of 20$ on my room. Staff was very kind and nice. I would recommend over all and I would stay again.

The property appears to be going through a renovation. Our room was nice and quiet. The bed comfortable. There is a train that passes and whistles. But, we didn't hear it in the middle of the night. There are plenty of food options and shopping in the area.

The only problem we had was the bathtub was holding water so when you was taking a shower you might as well took a bath..other then that had a great stay

This hotel is a joke. If you book your rooms online, you may or may not have a room when you get there. We drove 8 hours with 2 rooms booked for 4 nights. Only one room was available. One bed. No other rooms available. I guess when you stay in a hotel, you should have water... No water from 8am till 3pm. during weekdays... I was told they were doing renovations. No TV! The phone did not work to call front desk... Our room had no handle on the inside of the bathroom door. No towel racks for your towels. You have to ask for room service if you stay more than one night. Really? you have to ASK? AND get this...Getting into the elevator smelled of stale cigarettes. This was the worst experience I have ever had. To boot the fat blonde chick at the front desk is a b****.

Check in was easy and the staff were all very nice ... everything was clean ... Our room was very spacious and had a great view of a smoky mountain ... our room was very clean, we had plenty of towels, free wi-fi and free breakfast in the lobby at a really good rate ... if we ever decide to travel that way again, I'd definitely stay at The Brookshire again!

I checked out in the middle of the night due to a party in the room below me. I called the front desk 4 times and nothing was done..I ended up sleeping in my car in a Walmart parking lot. Used to like this place but neither myself or anyone in my company will be back

Imagine driving six and half hours for a business event only to be told the confirmation number you have means absolutely nothing. We had no room as it was given to someone else bc they stated they had overbooked. As a frequent traveler i have never experienced something of this magnitude. Absolutely horrible!!

The hotel had a noticeable odor immediately upon walking through the front door. The smell of cigarettes permeated throughout the building. The AC unit in my room wasn’t fully functioning. My room was stuffy and stayed about 75 degrees overnight. I was fortunate that the front desk clerk found a small desk fan that I used in my room. The bathroom had tiles that were brown from a water leak. They also had a maintenance/construction crew begin work at 7am so sleeping in wasn’t an option. I would not recommend this place under any circumstance.

Easy check in. Clean rooms. Decent breakfast. Only stayed one night but was pleased with the accommodations. They do allow pets so did hear some barking but nothing too bad. Plenty of parking and room in the back for larger vehicles and trailers.
