We requested an accessible room. The shower, however, was a bathtub with a shower head, so he was not able to get in. Even if he had been able to get into the shower, there was no bar outside the shower for him to grab onto to assist with exiting it. As a result, he was not able to bathe for our entire stay.
Additionally, the "accessible" hotel room was quite far away from the elevator. His mobility is limited, so the distance was much too far for him to walk safely and independently. The room was great for someone without a disability, but a person with a disability should consider a different hotel.
