If you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle, then this is the place for you. A small and cozy hotel surrounded by greenery. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is ordinary, you won’t go hungry, alcohol and water are paid, order from the menu. Beach towels are available for a fee. There are no cafes or restaurants near the hotels, no shops, 10 minutes walk from the main road. The location will be convenient if you plan to see the sights of the southern or western part of the island.

Quel bonheur de prendre le petit déj face à l'océan, plage privée magnifique avec vue sur le Morne. Le buffet du soir excellent ou nous avons pu decouvrir les plats locaux, merci au chef😁 c'était délicieux. Pour finir mention spéciale pour le personnel qui a été très attentionné tout au long de notre séjour. Pour nous le meilleur hôtel du sud ouest. Merci Mariposa !

Really loved staying here, the staff were absolutely phenomenal, especially Oliver and Dylan, helpful and kind, the venue and views are sublime, the only complaint is that the food wasn't that great unfortunately, but the breakfast was great though, and maybe get an English channel to watch? I overall my experience was memorable and just lovely, I will definitely be going back there, even I'm extremely afraid of gecko's

We love staying at La Mariposa. The location is perfect for us, close to our family, and we love the east coast sunsets. This resort is smaller than some that we have stayed at, which means the service is more personal. This also means that Beach and pool access is easy from any of their rooms. We have enjoyed the sea view rooms, as well as the family rooms with garden/pool view, that also have a small kitchen, great for families.

I got robbed in the Hotel by the hotel staf. I forgot my back with cash money inside and when I got back to the breakfast area just 5 minutes later, one waiter told me the bar manager had taken my bag somewhere. My backpack was not in the reception so I went to the beach bar where I found te bar manager grabbing my money fork the inside pockect of my backpack. This guy was hiding below the bar area not to be seen, but I went for behind the open bar and saw him with getting out my money. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was looking for my ID, but he had my eruo and olars in his hands. I immediately wnt to reseption and explained the situation and they told me to go to the police for an official statement. The Hotel manager was protecting the staf memberwho I had to see everyday cause thre were no consecuences for him. I was questionned by the police everal times during several days and they said an investigation would proceed but nothing happened. Moreover, 3 days later, 1000 USD were missing fro my suitcase inside my room. The Hotel manager answer was I should had put in the save box, which I was not even infomed it existed. I also I got dengue at the place cause its full os mosquitos. In total I was stolen 1750 USD. Some months later I found out the staff memeber who robbed me was caught stealing from another guest and got fired. I then wrote to the Hotel Manager asking for some kind of compensation for my money but her answer was she had no responsability at all. All in all a terrible experience, just keep your money and expensive with you and do not leave them in yur room or common areas.

What a tranquil boutique hotel. Smaller in size in the best way possible compared to large chain hotels, you really get to benefit from the peaceful atmosphere here. The highlight of the property is the beachfront area, flanked by a giant tree, fairy lights, soft music and great food, you could spend hours on the beach while watching the beautiful view of Le Morne Brabant in front. The rooms are nicely decorated and some of them have sea views, which was a nice touch. Also loved the lush botanical gardens
