블루 베릴 게스트 하우스(Blue Beryl Guest House)

We had a ground floor room with bathroom and small kitchen, also a terrace overlooking the sea. The guest house is right on a sandy beach, you just step on to the sand and then into the water to snorkel. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good with a choice including fresh croissants and omelette. There is plenty to do at Blue Bay including boat trips, also supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It is only 15 minutes from the airport so it is a great idea to stop there for a few days just after you arrive or before you depart. It was handy to have a car. The location is superb and we enjoyed relaxing on our terrace looking at the view over the lagoon to the reef. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We borrowed snorkelling equipment and deck chairs for the beach. Great value for money and we highly recommend it.

I discovered this little gem! We were welcomed and felt right at home in a beautiful and inviting atmosphere. Shalinee and all the staff were friendly. Shalinee goes out of her way to meet all your needs. I can recommend the Blue Beryl for a quiet escape. The view from the room was spectacular, and snorkelling is a must, with the reef in front of your room. Snorkelling equipment is available if you do not have your own. I would recommend this establishment !! It is the perfect location with the view across the coral reef and the open ocean.

Blue Beryl was just perfect. The location on the bay was spectacular. The staff went above and beyond in getting us taxis and helping arrange a day snorkeling trip. They had beach chairs for us to use and the breakfast was excellent. Starting every day with a croissant - WONDERFUL! Our room was cleaned every day and the wifi was smoking fast. Just past the front door is a great little restaurant and two others down the street. Perfect stay, perfect location.

A good value option in a great location. The family apartment has two spacious en suite rooms and a kitchen/living room area that is ideal for a family with children. The views from the back of the property are wonderful. The staff were friendly and very helpful, particularly Shalinee and Fiya. There really went out of their way to meet our requests and catered for our needs, including things like booking taxis, making restaurant reservations and booking kayaks. On the whole a very good experience. I would not hesitate to book this place again in future.

Great place to stay. Staff very professional and helpful. Sanjana and Shalinee make their best to accommodate you. They are the heart of Blueberyl. Always giving good advice and make you comfortable Pryia , Fiya and Priscilla are also very helpful and always polite and smiling. All positive. They do everything to please you. It’s the nicest place to stay in Blue Bay! Very affordable, cozy, clean, with amazing location and view. Breakfast was also very nice. Also there are so many nice tropical plants on the territory. The Guest house is very close to the Blue Bay beach, also close to many good restaurants. Will definitely recommend it.

This is a large multi room guest house My room was nice and airy directly overlooking the ocean The area is quiet The guest house arranged my airport transfer with a personalised pickup and transfer that take a lot of stres out of a singel night stay The beach is directly accessible from the guest house and I could take an early morning swim and hour snorkel before my departure

We stayed here for 5 nights in a ground floor sea view apartment. The room was very comfortable and clean (could have done with a lick of paint) and the well equipped kitchen area with a fridge freezer and bathroom were good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful e.g. organising a trip to Ile aux Aigrettes for us. Breakfast was excellent as long as one got there early if it was busy! We used the bus to get to the supermarket and Mahebourg, easy and cheap. There are only a couple of restaurants within walking distance - both good - but if you want more choice you would need a car or get a taxi. We snorkelled and swam from the beach below and walked along to other beaches which were quiet and unspoilt. Didn't use the public beach at Blue Bay as it seemed busy. Would definitely recommend this guest house as an excellent good value option.

The service of Jasmin and Jeremy is outstanding. They are very client oriented. Our stay was tailor made and they did everything they could for everything to go as smoothly as possible. The place looks like a post card and really is a place to disconnect and rechange. I recommend this place 1000%
