르 그랑 호텔(Le Grand Hotel)

I was not expecting anything memorable from our stay here but it turned out to be memorable for the wrong reasons. The bar and restaurant staff had no patience and were at times plain rude. The main issue was the lack of Wifi at the hotel, after daily complaints which brought shrugs of the shoulders and bewildered looks of confusion we gave up. This is terrible as we expect fast Wifi at any hotel 3 star and above there were many business people staying there and I can't believe a hotel would such a poor internet service, they just did not care. Good points were the food was ok, rooms were clean but no air-conditioning. Would not recommend this hotel.

I booked the hotel and paid everything through **********, but when I checked out they charged me full price for the hotel. They say they haven't received a payment before and asked for a receipt, which I emailed them. It's been more than two weeks since I checked out and they stopped responding my emails and refuse to refund me. They also charged 9 euro every day for breakfast even though I only had breakfast one out of four days. They claim they asked me about breakfast when I checked in, but I'm 100% sure they didn't. Their English is really bad and the staff is really unhelpful. Stay away from this place.

I booked my stay through ********** and paid the hotel in advance. However, the hotel charged me full price when I checked out. I have emailed the hotel and they say they haven't received a payment before. They told me to send a proof of payment, which I did. I sent them a detailed receipt but they said it wasn't enough. After that they just stopped responding to me. I should not even have to send them a receipt. ********** are trying to fix this for me, but the hotel staff are all struggling with English. They also charged me for breakfast every morning, claiming they asked me if I wanted breakfast when I checked in. I'm 100% sure they never asked me. I had breakfast the first day, but there was not much I could eat due to allergies, so I bought my own breakfast elsewhere the other days. It's been 11 days now and I haven't heard more from them.

Bel établissement. L’accueil est formidable tout comme le personnel. L’on n’y dort bien et les repas sont excellents. Difficile de trouver mieux à des kilomètres à la ronde. Je recommande vivement.

Très bien situé dans le centre de Maubeuge. Personnel présent, très à l'écoute et chaleureux. Chambre propre et d'un grand confort. La brasserie excellente nous avons bien mangé.. Une adresse que je recommande vivement . Top

Bonne literie , personnel très serviable et très sympathique, très bon restaurant 👍 , chambres avec bain à remous très spacieuse, j’y reviens chaque fois que je suis dans la région, proche du centre

On a eu une urgence familiale 2hrs apres notre arrivee J’espere que la gerance fera un geste commercial 😕😕😕
