NOT HAPPY! Although the place was clean and the restaurant had good food, their service is VERY POOR!
I certainly will not refer this hotel to anyone.
I only slept over one night and in the morning I woke up to a broken toilet.This part is understandable but the poor response to the problem is what upset me.
As I found out that the toilet was broken I contacted reception and explain that I needed to use the toilet urgently.Only after another phonecall and 15 minutes later someone pitched up just to declare that the toilet is indeed broken and they will ask maintenance to come check.I told him I needed the toilet urgently and he said he will come back with a card of an empty room so that I can go there.
ANOTHER 15 minutes later and two more phonecalls but no card given to go to another toilet. I gave up and couldn't wait longer, did my business in the toilet and used a makeshift bucket to flush down everything. SO BASICALLY NOT POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE but actually NO service or solution.
Fast forward 30 minutes later and I am at checkout complaining about this situation and how unhappy I am.
They didn't even deem it important enough to call a manager even after I said that I will be writing a very non favorable review. They only apologised ( very lightly).
Never thought I would see this from a 4 star hotel.
Beware if you want to stay here.Heed my warning as they make use of sustainable practices (such as using grey water for toilets) there are more things that can go wrong with amenities than in a normal run of the mill hotel. This in itself is not a problem and commendation for that BUT that means you need to know your hotel and have good response systems in place so that guests are not left in embarrassing situations!
Clearly these type of issues are not important enough to resolve . I will not suggest stay at this hotel due to the lack of response and disregard.
