Jasper House

We spend 3 nights at Jasper, Jasper offers a view rooms with airco’s but the majority are open room concept, the info on most booking platforms is misleading so dubbel check if it’s important for you , we had a open room which by itself is a fun experience , the shower and toilet are outside and there are no windows in the room , the bed has a fan and a net so you are protected but it was advised not to have food around in the room The property has a dining on the top floor with service for breakfast as wel as lunch or dinner , the breakfast was good with choice of western or Sri Lanka typ

Lovely little place. Not probably up there with the best but staff were very helpful. Yoga room was a delight and the rooms were clean. Garden rooms not quite as advertised as the areas to sit were not as shown but couldn’t fault the location etc. I think maybe newly opened as they were adding bits all the time. Pool was lovely and empty!

Me and a friend went for lunch and we LOVED our meals! She had a grilled tuna, and I ordered grilled prawns that wer served with coconut, mango, green leaves and a fabulous lemon dressing. A rotti was added, I asked for it. It was surely my favorite lunch so far and I will go back. Service was excellent, the place is impecable and on a quiere corner in Hiriketiya. Not to be missed! Jasper house offers a very I te resting menu. Gracias!

I had a big room with a huge comfortable emperor size bed with AC (that I did not use) a powerful shower, and - which was the cherry in the cake an almost private 20m pool right at my doorstep. The staff was extremely friendly. I was spoiled with great food any moment I felt like it on the vast rooftop space from where I looked out on a green space with coconut trees and the sea, driven to town to get cash, and given advice on what to do. The property is away from any street noise but 2' walk to the reef surf spot. What a great place to stay in Hiri!

Beautiful room with option to open to the sky. Lovely yoga studio downstairs with a wonderful teacher ♥ quiet access to the sea behind. Excellent views from the restaurant. Attentive and generous staff. Good pool for laps. Highly recommended

Spacious rooms, 2 minutes to the beach, lovely pool, good bar and restaurant although there are many others locally well worth a visit. Great for me and my travelling family of 5. Great hosts and well placed for the area.

We had the most beautiful room in the hotel with view to palm trees and the ocean. The room was half opened but we didn’t expect monkey and bird visits everyday 😅😬 The staff cleaned after these but it still felt a bit like a robbery as we weren’t prepared for this. The staff is nice. Place is not super clean, but the views and feel here outweighs it. Would go again - not sure about my girlfriend though

Not worth the money, cushions on the couch not clean, no handtowels, only received beachtowels after asking twice, breakfast in comparison to all previous places really basic (even fruits were not tasty. How is that even possible, fruits taste amazing in sri lanka ;) )
