다르 하우스니아(Dar Housnia)

This traditional riad was very quaint and the staff is hospitable. The service was great, breakfast was delicious ( fresh squeezed OJ). The riad is tucked away off of a main road but any time we left at night Abdul would personally walk us to our taxi. Abdul was certainly the star of the show. Very friendly and always made sure we were taken care of, inside and outside of the Riad. We would come back solely for him alone

An oasis of calm within the Medina. Conveniently located only a 2 min walk from where taxi's are available and a 15 min walk from the main square. We were met at the airport by a driver that the Riad arranged (220 dirham/c£18) which made the journey much easier. Staff could not do enough for us, including very kindly arranging to buy us our bus ticket to Essaouira. Breakfast and dinner on the rooftop terrace.

A beautiful property! We stayed with our 5yo daughter and loved it. Lovely characterful rooms, great pool area, fabulous food and excellent staff. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend Dar Housnia more!

Just returned from 6 days staying at Dar Housnia, in the Medina of Marrakesh. What a gem of a hotel. Tucked away down one of many of the Medina’s winding back streets. Dar Housina, is an oasis of calm tranquillity, but not more than a minute or two from the bustle of the vibrant colour of Marrakesh life, and the bonus of a convenient drop off and taxi pickup location of Place Moukef, handy for any evening restaurant excursions, or day trips away from the city. With the added benefit of a secluded plunge pool, the traditionally decorated rooms are comfortable,and offer plenty of private space to relax and unwind. With its own Hamman, and quiet massage room a treatment is hearty recommend. Along with a comfortable rooftop deck area, or courtyard dining room breakfast or dinner can be taken in either area, and compliments the fabulous Zineb’s traditional Moroccan cooking . During our time at the Riad, we actually dined on our own, one evening having the whole Riad to ourselves, it was like having our own private chef. Abdu, and Zinab looked after us fantastically. The sea bass was wonderful as were the traditional salads. All the staff are very nice and extremely helpful and we also had the pleasure of chatting with the owners during our stay, and sharing a glass of wine by the pool. A convenient location, Dar Housina is a great base to explore Marrakesh from, and is heartily recommended.

Nous avons passé un magnifique we prolongé dans cet havre de paix. Les chambres sont magnifiques, les repas étaient divins,… Bouchra et son équipe ont été merveilleux alors qu’ils vivaient dans la peur des répliques suite au tremblement de terre qui nous a bien secoué. On y retournera!

So if you want to be spoilt, feel some luxury in the sun then this is the place to come Staff welcome you with a smile, but i am sure this is a knowing smile as they wait for your reaction to seeing the place. You will love the wow factor of this little Riad, from the rooms to the pool to the roof top terraces Come here and get spoilt, then wander around the city (everyting within walking distance ) then be spoilt again Loved the pool area Owners just happened to be here when we came and they are a brilliant couple warm and welcoming Just visit and enjoy your time here

We spend a full week at Eveline & Marc’s fantastic Riad im May 2023. We specifically chose to be inside the Medina to experience this vibrant and lively city but being close enough to be able to retreat to a calm and quite place for peaceful nights being at at stonethrow (10mim easy walk) from main plaza) We had a wonderfull experience from A-Z. Warm welcome, tastefully designed and themed rooms, carefully chosen decoration made us live our 1001 nights like a dream. The staff is exceptionally forthcoming and polite. Catering was simply mouth-watering, from the opulent breakfast to the fine moroccan dinners on roof-terrace, a blast. We will definately be back rather sooner than later

This is an absolute oasis within the walls of the medina. One thing to note, please don't make the mistake we did and try to figure out getting from the airport to Dar Housnia yourself. Let them arrange transport, and most importantly, send a porter. As for the house? It is a gem, it is wonderfully quiet and comfortable, the rooms have AC, they have a full services kitchen and bar, they have a plunge pool, meals in-house, you name it. Location wise it is a short walk through the passages to the center of the medina and a 15(ish) minute walk to the main square. The thing I really liked though was what a respite the Riad was from the hectic nature and heat of the medina outside.

Back to Dar Housnia (what else, anyway ?) for a romantic week, without kids. The Dar is still so perfect ! The team has renewed over time, but with always the same kindness, the same high quality of service. As a regular client here, I had the chance to enjoy the delicious traditional cooking of Rachida, now retired. And I am now happy to see that Zineb perpetuates it with the same quality. She deserves congratulations. As we now know quite well all the must sees in MKH, this time we just wanted to... do nothing... And we did it quite well, enjoying excellent massages and hammam care in Dar Housnia, another good reason to come here.
