리아드 이르할네(Riad Irhalne)

Second time here because i love the location right in the middle of it all and yet very quiet and safe. Rooms perfectly decorated, bed super comfortable, warm and big. Rooftop and pool- everything is super clean and the breakfast is amazing- service impeccable! The guys here take care of you as soon as you land. Thank you for a wonderful stay

I stayed with my wife in January 2024 for 4 nights and this was our first visit to Morocco. We had booked airport transfers through the riad. They brought us to the Jemaa El Fanaa square and Simo from the riad met us and took us and our cases to the riad which is about a 5 minute walk through the souks. On arrival at the riad Muhammad greeted us with a warm welcome and mint tea. He gave us a map and marked on it where we were, where the main sights were and where the A**s were as Morocco is pretty much cash only. He gave us a lot of good advice on what to do and what to avoid as first timers in Marrakech. We stayed in the Fleur d'Orange room which was very nice and traditionally decorated. We had maid service everyday. The riad was very clean all l at all times. All the staff were very friendly and happy to help. We had breakfast every morning which was freshly cooked Moroccan pancakes, toasted Moroccan bread, pastries which varied, jams, butter, honey and an amazing nutty chocolate spread. The view from the roof top is great. The riad is in a great location, 5 minutes from the main square and 1 minute from one of the main souk roads. I can't recommend this riad enough and I intend to return with my kids.

An oasis in the Medina. A very beautiful hotel, great aesthetics and well decorated with comfortable rooms with Aircon. Friendly helpful staff, everywhere very clean, good facilities and tasty Moroccan breakfast - fully recommend!

The public areas of this riyad are very pretty with seating around a lovely fountain and pool. The rooms, however, are unventilated shoeboxes. Our only window opened onto the inner courtyard so everyone out there could look in. We kept the window closed. The bathroom is poorly lit so putting on makeup was a challenge. The shower was fine. Amenities are very basic. They serve a pretty standard Moroccan breakfast which was good. One of our party wanted unsweetened yogurt and someone went out and bought it for her. That was much appreciated.

Unfortunately this riad cancelled our booking two days prior to our arrival. No adequate explanation given other than ‘local issue’. - I guess overbooking. Very poor approach to business. Tour operator had to find us alternative accommodation

Excellent location for the place, just a few minutes walk Our room was on the top floor, clean and well presented, the bed was larger and very good water pressure in the shower, air con effective and not too noisy Our host Mohammed was very attentive and welcoming, always on hand with water or mint team The breakfast was traditional and ample with toast, pancakes, jam, honey etc, fresh juice and yogurt with a big pot of coffee The Riad was easy to find from Jemaa el-Fna a very short walk and a calm oasis from the buzz of Marrakech We have stayed in several Riads in Marrakech over the years, this has to be one of the best And very good value for money

Riad Irlhane was an oasis of calm within a bustling medina. The hosts were attentive, helpful, informative, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are typically Moroccan, some a little small but nearly all were triple rooms. We were a group of 7 ladies and had rooms on the first floor and the top floor. All rooms were quiet with blackout curtains. As a group of females we felt safe and secure in the Riad. Breakfast was presented beautifully with lots of choice, think afternoon tea style! The location of the riad was amazing, just a few steps away from the bustling markets and central square. Transfers can also be arranged with Mohammed, I didn’t realise this when booking, despite this Mohammed still contacted our transfer and organised the pick up, and even helped us with our bags to the coach. We had mint tea on the rooftop terrace where we could while away a couple of hours chatting. A wonderful place to stay, we would definitely go back!
