We stayed 2 nights in this hotel from 26th August until 28th August room 1127. The staff in this hotel have some serious problems as they clearly dont care about customers. As we entered the hotel by the wrong entrance ( agua fun) wanting to check in the receptionist made me wait while he is talking to his friend on the phone after he finished then he approched me and asked me what can he do for us been given the papers to fill and then told that me and my daughters had to go to the other entrance ( 10 min walk trough the swimmingpool) nobody offered to take our suitcases and bags had to go do the check in and come back to pick up our bags. The Person in the swimmingpool i asked him for a parasol for my daughters he said they are all been taken 1 houre later i saw an other staff member picking up a parasol to give it to an other customer so i told him i asked for it 1 houre ago and then he offered to me ( why the first person didnt bother to look as it was just laying there near the other lounges) knowing i was with 2 young kids. 1 lady making omelettes for the whole hotel the lady was nice but you have to wait for almost 20 min to have your omelette. The room service person looked like he didnt really want to do that job. BIG MENTION the person who was vigiling and keeping eyes on the slides he was doing a great job looking after the young kids also dont want to forget the lady who printed my bording passes and charged my power bank before check ou thanks guys maybe the other staff can lean from you whats customer service is.

A pleasant stay with an excellent breakfast! The staff is very kind and cheerful, especially the housekeeping ladies. The rooms are very clean. Some of the advantages of the hotel include the underground parking and its central location in Marrakech, close to all attractions either by foot or by taxi. The hotel is well air-conditioned, which is very appreciated during the heatwave, and there is Wi-Fi everywhere.

Excellent because this hotel is a gem in little Marakech. After struggle to decide on a hotel and after reading many reviews, more bad than good, we took a leap of faith on this. It showed to be a good choice: it was clean, decor is attractive and detailed; reasonable distance from airport & to other places; staff are kind and hard working; multilingual; well managed; well kept; we had Twin room w/ Garden view (3135) I think not every room is the same but walking by when cleaning in process they looked good too; the carpet in corridors were cleaned, windows too, plants/grass watered; it is clear that they read their reviews. There was a glass in bathroom for water (bottled water comes with tea/coffee); shower curtains are changed every 2 days so keeping hygiene, the aircon was not too cold & you can customise to low med or hi: we had medium sometimes low/off & slept in undergarments or wore nightgown, there is a blanket in wardrobe if needed); the furniture was fine too. General: cabinet with draws, mirrors, a combination safe for your documents/cash, wardrobe, a tv with multiple channels, decent bed to lay on, soft and hard pillows, shower with good pressure and temp; pool looked great, i am 5.5" it came up to my shoulder, both adult pools were clean, as well as the outer floor during the night; there is music which can be turned down on request & changes genre; the slides were fun (grown up & child friendly); there is a toddlers pool with apparatus; there is service for food & tea/coffee on both pool sides (reception 1 main) and for the second pool further down, also quieter; cleaners came every day to clean the room/ bathroom/ bed/replace used towels (sometimes the cleaner will have to return with new towels. Yes they were polite and understanding); good distance from busy jama el-fna medina (10 min by bus); hotel is 10 min walk to Al mazar mall (close @midnight)(Offers laser game room, arcades, bowling, Baskin Robins icecream, KFC, pizza hut, french tacos, climbing frames, indoor climbing activity, coffee, bubble tea, shops & carrefour (grocery) and more). This is on the *****: Av. Du 7éme art and just 2-3 shops down from Al Mazar (toward hotel) is a small cafe (unmamed on Google maps but is adjacent mojito palm cafe) for a tasty omelette! The one with tuna & tomato rosemary. There is other shops here. The hotel is 10 min walk (approx) from Tinsmiths square, and other great views. The hotel was large, at main reception there is a cash ATM (provides other languages), activity organiser desk, hagen daz icecream vendor, during the day: mini snack shop; there was also a mini spa offering hamam, oil massage/cleanse, hair treatment, hair trimming; it was good because you have everything you might need without leaving the hotel, and when you do leave you can return knowing your belongings are safe & there is assistance always, and relief from the heat! The security was polite & done the job fine, its clear not anyone can just walk in which is good.

There is a serious issue with the ratings of the Moroccaan Hotels. I am writing this after staying in 11 hotels throughout Morocco for my 19 days trip. This hotel is rated as 4-star. It comes nowhere near a four star property. The hotel is situated far away from Marrakech amidst cultivating lands and the nearest restaurant is nearly 5-6 kms away. The nearest convinience store is 5 kms away, so if you need a bottle of water, you have to purchase it at an inflated price from the hotel. The room is quite large and the airconditioner is absolutely inadequate for this size of the room. With the blazing sun during daytime, it is wiser to keep the door open for ventilation. Even at midnight, we used to keep the balcony door open as it was cooler outside than the room with the airconditioner at full blast (you can hardly feel the air coming out). The charging points are all loose and are situated behind the bedside tables or under the table and accessing them is a difficult proposition. The beds are also not comfortable. Totally inadequate room illumination. The only light is from the two bedside table lamps. There isn't a single lamp on the ceiling. The furnitures are with stains and needs replacement immediately. One good point about this hotel is the excellent breakfast but they serve the same dish everyday and there isn't any variety. Overall, absolutely not recommended if you want to stay lavishly in Marakkech.

This hotel is in desperate need of a thorough cleaning and significant renovations. The general maintenance of the property is severely lacking, giving the impression that cleanliness is not a priority . Given its current state, I would strongly recommend that this hotel be closed for a complete overhaul to ensure it meets basic hygiene and comfort standards.

A SCAM My experience at Mogador Palace Agdal was disappointing. The rooms appeared outdated and poorly maintained, with cleanliness standards falling short of expectations for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, the reception service was extremely disappointing, marked by a noticeable lack of professionalism and rude attitude from the staff.

DO NOT Book this place The hotel is scam, I reserved my booking twice each time they cancelled it. The communication is terrible no response for email or no answer called 8 times. Third time when reserved it they cancelled again just a few hours before our checking. Again no response no explanation. Few people mentioned it’s a dump

I travelled for business and stayed at this hotel for a little over a week, which seemed like a never-ending obstacle run. This is not a 5-star hotel by any stretch of imagination. Other than the ostentatious lobby with a massive chandelier, the rest of the property is poorly maintained and run down. There are two wings—one overlooking a very busy and noisy highway, and the other overlooking a pool with patios opening into the garden. I was given a room in the noisy wing which looked shabby, with scratched lamp shades, very poor A/C, and a telephone that did not work. There was no bathrobe or iron in the room, either. I reported it and asked for the phone to be fixed but that was ignored. In the evening I suddenly became aware of an intensifying acrid smell of chemicals coming from the hallway that was becoming intolerable. I was told that the hotel was undergoing a renovation and all the works had to be done after sunset. When I asked for another room, they claimed they were overbooked but reluctantly gave me another room down the hallway in the same wing. The room was slightly better, there were issues with the shower, but at least the A/C and the phone worked. As I found out later, they did put people in the other, greener and more quiet wing, which was largely empty. The following day I asked for room service (the hotel restaurant only served breakfast and dinner, so lunch options were limited). I was told it would take about 30 minutes, but two hours and five phone calls later, my order still hadn’t arrived. Every time I called, I got a different answer. I asked to speak to the manager but was ignored. No apologies were given. Housekeeping services, too, left much to be desired—they would forget to bring fresh towels or bottled water. On our first day, my colleagues and I had to buy bottles of water from the hotel, the clerk came up with a random price which, as it turned out later, was three times the retail store price. We were never quite sure about the price for dinner buffet either as it kept changing randomly from day to day. Part of the problem is that the hotel staff barely speaks English, so unless you are fluent in Arabic or French, you won’t get very far. That said, I am not sure it is the language barrier that is the issue—it is mostly poor management with an attitude problem that doesn’t care.
