라 크루거 라이프스타일 로지(La Kruger Lifestyle Lodge - No Loadshedding)

What an amazing stay we had at LA Kruger. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous and had everything we needed. So comfortable, clean and well equipped. We even had a lovely Lapa next to the room where we could enjoy an early morning coffee and watch the wild animals from there. I will highlight recommend this guest house to anybody in need of a nice getaway.

Super friendly staff upon arrival! It was really hot and they offered us a delicious welcome drink! Our room was spacious with a really comfy bed and pillows! A lot of extra’s in the room like a hair dryer. We had a large terrace from which we could spot the monkeys. Dinner and breakfast service was perfect! ‘Given’ our host was just lovely and attentive! We would recommend this place highly!

Staying at La Kruger Lifestyle Lodge was truly an amazing experience. From arriving until we left we had nothing by exceptional service. I can’t thank Laura, Sabelo and Knowledge and the other team members enough, an absolute wonderful team. They catered to all our needs, kept us on schedule with our excursions and meal times. As for the accommodation, the lodge is fantastic, you have two pools you can cool off, our bungalow had an outdoor shower also - love this! Towels are provided - bath and swimming towels. They also have a very good system that protects you from the Loadshedding that occurs. Few things to think about when staying there: - Safari - You are up early!! This is no joke, be prepared to be up early, the morning game drive means you are up at 3:30 and out the door at 4am SHARP! Mornings and evenings are the cooler times and this means the animals are more active. - Gratuity- make sure you have enough physical cash to provide gratuities. It is best to do it as you go as the schedule means you don’t always see the same personal. So always show your appreciation when you can. - Water, drink lots of it, they have an awesome minibar in each room. The prices are exactly the same as having it at the pool or at dinner, so it is really nice to know you are not being overcharged for taking something out of your fridge. - Food - if you have no dietary requirements then sit back and relax. Every meal was amazing and the portions will leave you more than satisfied - Breakfast is fantastic, you have options from a full breakfast, cereals, yogurt and cold meats. Lastly - sit back and enjoy, take in all the sights and experiences. Remember this is a natural environment where you get to see the animals in their environment, be respectful, listen to what you are told. Everything these people do they do for the Park and to animals in it. Africa will always be a part of me!

This has been one of the best stays on my worldtrip! The Staff really cares for every Single visitor. I am really happy to Met all of them! Special thanks to Jaques who really made Quote the effort the day I was leaving to make sure I will be safe driving solo to my Next hotel. Also loved the fact that you were able to see wild life the minute you step one foot off the lodge area. Recommend 100%! Just make sure to Drive with a 4WD!

Our stay at LA Kruger was amazing from the second we met our driver at the airport all the way to the last minute. The whole staff was professional and dedicated to making our stay a memorable one. Dinners are very tasty, and the rooms are very spacious. I am very grateful to Jacques Delport and his team for facilitating so many excursions, and for the high professionalism they displayed throughout this pandemic, which was hard on everyone. The swimming pools were a nice fresh spot after hot day excursions, but the best part about LA Kruger is definitely the huge terrace on the canpy: watching the sun rise from tree top level was magical! There was only one negative thing: having to leave such a magical place. Not sure we will be able to come back to South Africa soon, but if we do, we will definitely return to LA Kruger!

The hotel has a lot of charm surrounded by nature and also animals (zebras!). The room is spacious and comfortable, with a large terrace where we had dinner. There is a feeling of privacy with respect to the other rooms. Its owner was very kind to us, helping us with recommendations and suggestions. Our stay was perfect. Highly recommended!

What a great place to stay. Specially the personal attention of Sabelo and Laura made it unforgettable. We would have liked to stay much much longer. Beautiful surroundings and high quality standards. Real special. Thank you

Coming from a hospitality background, I was disappointed with the feedback I received from the manger (Jacques) on two occasions Our first night, it was raining at the lodge and dinner time came. We called in to ask if we could have dinner in our room as we had a 9 month old baby and wanted to avoid him getting sick. This request was not accepted with a reason that he was under staffed. Under staffed at our expense? we paid full price, why must we as guests be compromised? we got to the room after dinner to turn on the Aircon to heat. We were unable to find the heating option. We called reception and Jacques advise that their aircons do not have a heating facility. But why was it that on Bookings.com it specified "Aircon" in the rooms, instead if "Cooling facility". this can be misleading The next day Jacques said he will try to get us a heater. By late afternoon, we sent him a message asking if he managed to find a heater. He did not respond. Pushing us to go out and source a heater, spending money in order to warm up the room for our baby The next morning Jacques said he was not able to find a heater. Which is funny because we were able to and we are not from the area. He just refused to go the extra mile for his guests yet he falsely advertised "Air conditioning" Facilities We have travelled to many places around the world and we have never stumbled across an air con that only pushes out cold air and not hot. When it states "Aircon" it is both hot and cold We did not appreciate the attitude by the face of LA Kruger where he was just inflexible to accommodate any requests Wifi is also an issue. Yes " Free wifi" What is the point if it does not work?

This was one of the best getaway places I have been to. Jacques and his team were superb in every sense of the word. Food was great and rooms were neat and clean. Food was absolutely delicious.Will be back. Thanks Jacques
