La Rosa Hotel - Selinunte

Selinunte was beautiful. Amazing archaeological site. Hotel was fantastic. Great location near the beach and restaurants.

There was no staff on check in. Someone came reluctantly out from the office. The bar was open but no visible staff. The one poor member of staff was handling the restaurant. Completely ignored us. Breakfast: staff was arguing, then disappeared.on the terrace for a fag, rather than arranging fresh tables for us. It was mid brekfast time. We had to find our own cutlery, napkin etc. No-one stopped is from going behind the counter to do this. The food offering was bare, a slice of ham and cheese, pastries was only remaining crumbs. Coffee machine had clearly run out of beans. Our departure was at 7.30, opening time of breakfast, but staff did not want to let us in to pick up a pastry, instead slammed door shut.

Front desk staff were outstanding. Beds were hard and not the best and our AC didn’t work so well. Staff and the breakfast were top notch

The hotel is very conveniently located nearby the archealogical park, with a beach right across the street. The rooftop terrace was a great spot to watch the sunset then the temples in the park lit up at night, with a nice glass of wine or cocktail. The in-house restaurant served a great meal with a lot of seafood choices; the cous-cous with calamari was fantastic.

This is a rather simple hotel with basic rooms, though well equipped. Good value for money. Excellent breakfast. Friendly service. Right in front of the sea and a short ride from the superb archeological site. Recommended and I’d go back if I would return to Sicily

Location da cartolina a due passi dal mare, hotel di una bellezza unica. Ottima pulizia. Personale gentilissimo, guidato da Alessandro che sa davvero come si fa accoglienza. Assolutamente da provare la cucina, sublime e curata. Grande scoperta.

Siamo stati nella tranquilla Selinunte presso il La Rosa per 10gg. Tutto perfetto a partire dalla posizione strategica dinanzi al mare e all'unico stabilimento balnenare del posto gestito da Ciccio (simpaticissimo personaggio siculo); a due passi si trova il meraviglioso parco archeologico che non si può non visitare. Personale gentilissimo e professionale, particolare menzione al simpaticissimo maitre Leonardo, a Gabriele e a Cinzia! Hotel ben tenuto con camera vista mare molto spaziosa e sempre pulita. Colazione varia con torte buonissime, cornetti, succhi, salato e molto altro; P.s. Caffetteria automatica ma sorprendentemente buona; infine la cucina top grazie alla bravissima cuoca Mariapia che ci ha fatto gustare piatti di mare sempre diversi e succulenti (antipasto, primo, secondo e dolce) ..... insomma superconsigliatissimo.

Punti di forza di quest'albergo sono la posizione di fronte alla spiaggia e i prezzi competitivi. Le camere sono ampie e pulite, un po' spoglie ma con due ampi piani di appoggio; la nostra inoltre aveva un piccolo terrazzo vista mare. La tenda poco oscurante alla finestra e i cuscini un po' bassi e duri rendono la qualità del sonno migliorabile, anche se la zona è silenziosa. La colazione è dignitosa, la scelta non enorme, forse anche perché eravamo in bassa stagione. Interessanti i vari distributori di creme per farcire le brioche a piacimento (ottima quella al pistacchio). Servizio gentile.
