조트리 마리곳 베이 - 올 인클루시브(Zoetry Marigot Bay - All Inclusive)

My husband and I stayed here for a few days on a nice, relaxing getaway. We were blown away with the views and how unique this hotel is. The service was great and the food was delicious. The only negative thing about this hotel is the beach it’s connected to. It’s hardly a beach and it’s not private, locals and other tourists are coming and going all day. We noticed most of the hotel guests hangout at the pool.

Solo Traveler - I had the pleasure of staying at this property for my birthday. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I attended an exclusive presentation through UVC and received $400 in spa credit which was a real treat. There are a few restaurant options to enjoy and the view was breathtaking. I also took advantage of a tour that included the Soufriere, mud bath,waterfall, lunch, and sugar beach. If you stay at this property, just be prepared to hike up hills and steps, oh and have that bug spray ready...lol. All in all, it was a great experience for a solo Traveler and others.

We spent 5 nights at this gorgeous property on Marigot Bay. TL;DR: we had a great time and left relaxed and happy. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and our room was clean and quiet. The beach is a very short ferry ride away and the two pools are clean and drinks were always available. A few areas of improvement: 1) consider adding more loungers by the pool or allow renting of cabanas. There never seemed to be enough chairs and people would just leave their towels to “save” a spot and then never come back. 2) remind staff about attention to detail when replenishing the room amenities (for example: towels would be taken but not replaced, coffee pods were hard to come by, and water wasn’t consistently replenished in the fridge) 3) encourage more of a team environment. It was clear that concierge and staff communication was poor. For example, we booked a private romantic dinner and when we confirmed day-of with the concierge, they told us a different time from what the waiter and chef were told so we were late for our reservation. Overall, we’re easy going and had very few problems. If we ever go back to St. Lucia, we would stay here again.

Place is excellent to really relax and rejuvenate. After 4 nights we are ready to get bach to our hectic schedules

The service for meals was very slow and often missing items we had asked for. We waited 35 minutes one evening after we were seated and finally my husband got up to ask someone to come over to take our order or even get us water. The items marked gluten free weren't really GF since they still contained soy sauce (which contains gluten). However, the rooms were nice. There are others allowed on the property so you will be asked constantly your room number and last name to make sure you are allowed to go where you are walking. That was a little odd (this is walking along the pier where the sailboats and yachts are docking) or when going to the gym. There are 2 restaurants per meal included with the all inclusive so if you have allergies/food intolerances your choices will be pretty limited. And even though you give those issues ahead of time they don't mark your room number down when you are seated, so you have to re-explain these every single meal. All in all, pretty island but not the resort for us. We have been to all inclusive resorts that handled all areas much more smoothly and where the staff was very friendly. Here the butlers and the front desk staff were the really only friendly folks.

Staff that worked the two restaurants by the water were friendly. Staff that worked at the restaurant by the concierge were not friendly at all. Made my husband and I uncomfortable to eat there. Service was very slow! Everywhere else they were friendly. Very laid back and relaxing. Didn’t have a bad meal!

How can you get EVERYTHING wrong? The property is dated and needs a refurb, the beds sag and are bad for your back. The food is awful, inedible, it’s stale and not to food hygiene standards- it’s a crime against cuisine. The staff are unhappy and miserable and let it show every time you interact. They are not even indifferent they are actively antagonistic. The WiFi doesn’t work, towels at the poolside are a luxury good, pillows were last updated in the 1980s. The double bed is actually a single bed. No service at the pool and if you want dinner after a 10 hour flight please wait 2 hours as they don’t have space for you! One can’t believe this is a Hyatt group hotel the standard is so low. The all inclusive offer is irrelevant because you don’t want to be there and you certainly can’t eat the food. Worst experience after a few days we had to leave the place every morning paying over USD 100 each way to get a taxi to another part of the island to save our holiday. We ended up only using the hotel to sleep. Three days into the holiday we made the mistake to eat dinner at the restaurant - I ate the spinach risotto, within 30 minutes I had excruciating pains, vomiting and diarrhea and had to be sent to hospital with an ambulance. The doctor told me it was acute food poisoning from the rice had to get intravenous drips and painkillers and cost USD 1200. As I was leaving the hotel tried to get me to sign a liability waiver and did not take any responsibility. Do not recommend.

If you are in need of a getaway that alloes you to relax and reset, Zoetry is the perfect resort for you! Despite the resort being quiet and very relaxed, there's plenty of excitement away from the resort via boat excursions. We thoroughly enjoyed the Joy Cruise excursion, which allowed us to see the Pitons, a beautiful waterfall after a mud bath, and eat authentic Carribean cuisine.

Our stay at Zoetry Hotel in Marigot Bay had its highs and lows, creating a nuanced experience that warrants attention to detail. Pros: Suite and Pool Proximity: We were fortunate to have a suite in close proximity to the pool, offering breathtaking views. The room itself was nothing short of amazing. Friendly Staff and Culinary Delights: The staff at Zoetry Hotel were genuinely friendly, contributing positively to our overall stay. The culinary experience was a highlight, with amazing food adding a delightful touch to our visit. Cons: Security Concerns: A significant downside marred our experience when items were stolen from our car during our stay. It was even more disheartening that the car was in the hotel's care 100% of the time after our arrival, as we didn't use it until departure. When we notified the hotel about the theft, they assured us that the head of security would call us back on two occasions. Unfortunately, this promise remains unfulfilled to date, leaving us disappointed and frustrated. Suggestions for Improvement: Strengthening security protocols, especially when guests entrust their vehicles to the hotel's care, is imperative to ensure a safe and secure environment for all visitors. Zoetry should improve communication channels, ensuring that promises made to guests, such as callbacks from the head of security, are fulfilled promptly. We won't be back. Far too many other hotel options in St Lucia who value safety!
