we enjoyed the meals and the boutique atmosphere. the club has worked hard to provide beautiful ambience and quality service. the pool is great and the staff are friendly and helpful. I’d recommend - though of course it comes with a price tag. worth a splurge

We had a a fabulous 4 days here. Stayed in a junior suite with balcony overlooking gardens . Banana trees and parrots , felt very tropical . Huge bathroom , gorgeous four poster bed. Really was a stunning room . Spent most of our time at Finca Anna Maria , the adults pool which was absolutely beautiful. Great addition to the hotel. The service at this hotel really is something else . Very attentive, nothing is ever too much trouble. Dined at the grill one evening where the food was fantastic and the setting , lunch by pool and beach was also divine. We had family stay for the day with us which was great , very relaxed and child friendly with ice cream carts and gardens to play. Can’t wait to come back next year !

We stayed here in connecting suites for three nights. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed exploring the historical grounds and the colorful botanical gardens. The rooms we stayed in were very comfortable. There are USB sockets right next to each bed, so you don’t even need a converter is you are coming from outside Europe. There was loud, lively music coming from the main restaurant on the night we checked in and we couldn’t hear it inside our rooms at all. The rooms are well stocked with toiletries, towels, and even an ironing board, umbrellas and a yoga mat. We appreciated the fruit bowls full of apples, pears kiwi, and peaches. We also appreciate the complimentary snacks. Our only issue was the water in the shower tends to jump from cold to scalding and back again quite frequently, but I guess this can be expected with old infrastructure. The food throughout the resort is high quality, locally obtained and delicious. There was a buffet breakfast offered every morning with our stay, and we enjoyed a selection of fruits, pastries, charcuterie, eggs and more. Lunch by the pool was very satisfying. We especially enjoyed the anchovy, olive and caper pizza and the chocolate mousse dessert. We noted that the staff was attentive to our needs, but not overbearing. The food and drinks at the beach were top notch as well. The stretch of beach surrounding Marbella Club was very pretty. The wooden Marbella Club pier sits iconic against a picturesque shoreline and we watched many people come to take selfies and sightseeing pictures along its dock. We throughly enjoyed sitting in the beach chairs and also walking along the Golden Mile boardwalk. The only issue we had was the amount of African men that approached us trying to sell knock-off designer watches/ hats/ bags while we were seated at the beach. All 5 of us enjoyed a massage session at the spa as well. I would highly recommend this resort to couples and families. It is pricier than other resorts in the area, but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. Marbella Club's hospitality is right at the top.

Every year, the Marbella club is our go-to place to enjoy the hotel and restaurants, especially El Patio and the Beach Club and on 1st of January for the lunch/brunch by the seaside This time we did not stay at the hotel but visited the restaurants and facilities at least 6-8 times during December and January. Its food quality, ambience and service at its best. The hairstylist and spa there is amazing and thanks to Pedro! Whenever we are in Marbella, we will sure to go for a cut and treatments there. If I crave an authentic Italian pizza with a good combination of quality ingredients, I’d go to El Patio, Marbella Club Hotel. I must admit that I cannot try anything else there because pizza is what comes first to my mind every time I go. It’s a bit of an addiction. So, if I had made up my mind to "swallow" the calories of a pizza, I would have gone for the pizza El Boss from the menu. The dough is tasty, the crust is exactly as it should be, the mozzarella is properly melted and to make it more beautiful they have adorned it with cherry tomatoes. I always ask for extra basil and they offer lavishly three variations of basil, which completes the experience. The waiters there are friendly, observant and responsive, especially Begoña and Svetlania. Every client’s wish is granted. The ambience gives you the vibe of a Spanish hacienda patio with rustic elements. It is colourful and vibrant yet serene. Appropriate music adds to that peaceful environment. At the tables, you have pots with herbs which gives you the feeling that you are in your garden. All merges beautifully and coexists with nature: the plants, the fountains and the birds. However, more attention should be paid to cleaning the tables from Nature’s inevitable presence. But even that is part of the experience. Their final touch is a nice gesture to make the bill more appealing. Namely, you receive a beautiful hand fan marking the celebration of the 70th Anniversary of Marbella Club Hotel. We continue to return to the Marbella Club because the staff and amenities are second to none. Guest Relations (Guillermo, Raul, and Samuel), Juan and John at the front desk, Antonio and Cala with Concierge, Ivan with the unforgettable dining experience, and the fantastic housekeeping staff provide unprecedented service in a beautiful setting. Additionally, the views are beautiful, the food is delicious, the breakfast is amazing, and you can dance the night away at Rudi’s! Thank you for another amazing visit!

Flawless execution, beautiful gardens, pool and beach. February is not the best time to visit, but you can spend a dreamy day at the spa. Thalassotherapy is divine. The service is warm and friendly. Go to the smiling concierge for the 'locals tapas list'! Do get pizzas from El Patio. The grill is sublime, and you can pop into the bar next door, but I'd recommend reservations as it fills up quickly. Patricia at the golf desk is helpful and knowledgeable.

Marbella Club Hotel and all the restaurants are amazing!!! We had a fabulous experience celebrating my round birthday last August. El Patio is offering a very special atmosphere, our table was located next to LV boutique , in a calm area of the garden, giving us the intimacy to speak and laugh, not disturbing anybody. The food was 10/10, salads were very creative and different from typical menu. It was my third time in El Patio and not the last!

Where to start. The hotel is steeped in history but unlike many luxury hotels this one does not trade on its past glories . Rather it reflects its past and incorporates those values into its up to date hospitality and services. From its immaculate physical presentation to the thoroughly professional staff. It is hard to fault this hotel in any aspect of its operation. Everyone is treated like a returning friend and nothing is too difficult to do, fix or help with. I could go on but hopefully I have given a very quick reflection of our stay. Thank you Marbella Club for some great memories.
