바오밥 텐티드 캠프(Baobab Tented Camp)

Fantastic stay. Family luxury tents in the middle of the park with all amenities needed: two bathrooms, two bedrooms, entrance area. You feel more in a hotel room, but you have all the advantages of the location, the green view and the sounds at night. Good location inside Tarangire, but beware of tse tse flies in this park area, best to bring repellent and wear long sleeves and pants. The camp has a nice central area with food and drink services, incl. WiFi. Overall highly recommended.

The camp was exactly what we wanted. Small and charming, secluded and surrounded by gigantic baobabs, very comfortable tents and bedding, excellent food, professional and friendly staff. If you want to experience the authentic safari experience this is the camp to stay. The Tarangire National Park is also truly worth a visit and highly underrated in comparison with the Serengeti, as it is not so vast and the animals are easier to spot.

Really nice place to stay in Tarangire NP ! Staff were very friendly and attending any request, tents are very nice with wooden floor and large bathroom. Sunset light with the vegetation is great ! Nuce value for money in Tarangire. Staying 2 nights allow to discover the more southern area of the park

I was afraid this place would feel tacky, but it didn’t at all. It was a cozy feeling, with very nice tents. But the best of all was the awesome staff. Since it was in the locates in the park there were animals around. Therefore we were not allowed to leave the tents alone when dark. You had to call the staff via a radio in your tent to have them come and accompany you. The food was awesome. Lying in bed, hearing sounds from the outdoors and the African animals was a new experience. I would really recommend booking this.

Wonderfull place, very kind and healpfull staff. We traveled as a family and we all loved this place with magical sunset and wild Animals around. Food was very tastefull and wide choose. Tents were well equiepted and clean, bathroom offered a hot shower any time. E

A beautiful, almost magical, place. Very hospitable staff, great food, well assorted bar, the double room tent was well equipped, beautiful designen and the bed was a perfect place to sleep in after hours of safari.

Perhaps it should be a 3 star? A little rough around the edges, or shall I say rustic. The food was average and nothing to write home about. They have a bush kitchen, which was 1/2 in a tent and the other half out. They bring their water in for the guests and the kitchen. This was the only place that my driver complained about his driver accommodations and he hated this place, and the food they served him was below ours, and his treatment was poor. You have to keep your driver happy! The bottle of drinking water in my room was foul and when I made the waiter taste it the next morning, he spit it out. That being said, I loved how remote this camp was and the big bull elephant that wandered through it like he owned the place. I also like most of their staff who were friendly and helpful.

If you don’t have any issues with sleeping in tents, Baobab tented camp is the place for you in Tarangire! The tents are fully equipped with everything you need, staff is very attentive and concerned with any possible feedback, food is very good and the location is great. Elephants are common visitors day and night, so be prepared :).
