La camera è spaziosa e comoda, con la possibilità di preparare caffé o cioccolata calda. Colazione buona, Comodo il parcheggio pubblico davanti all' hotel.

Meine Tagungung war gut geplant und auch das Essen war lecker und mir als Vegetarier mit viel Auswahl angeboten. Personal war freundlich und trotz Unmengen von Gästen (wegen Mannheimer Gartenschau) stets Hilfsbereit. Tagungszimmer waren am ersten Tag schlecht gekühlt. Ich konnte am nächsten Tag mittags meine Zimmer anliegen nicht weitergeben wegen so viele Gäste, da mein Toilettenbrille (Zi. 614) bereits gebrochen war beim einchecken und musste aufpassen wegen Verletzungsgefahr. Sonst war alles in Ordnung und ich konnte im Garten am Abendstunde mein Bier genießen !

Onze kamer was niet goed schoon. Het rook er vreemd en de gordijnen en het toilet waren vies. Bij het inchecken 0 interesse en een “zoek het lekker uit” attitude. Jammer we komen hier regelmatig als tussenstop.

Alles bestens

Hotel not good enough and not value for money. They only offer single duvet covers . It’s like my 5 year old son duvet. I could only cover my feet and waist area . Only one elevator working during my 4 night stay and it was pretty bad, It takes on average about 15 minutes to get the elevator to the fifth floor and it was pretty OLD AND JUMPY. ITS A ONE STAR HOTEL THAT CHARGES 3 STARS PRICES. Oh I forgot there is no tea or kettle in the rooms as well

This hotel has many facilities for seminars and small conferences which give it a pleasant campus feeling. Admirers of mid-Century design will appreciate its classic style. Breakfast was almost too delicious -- requires good willpower not to eat too much. Quiet location set back from street but still convenient to transportation. The restaurant is not open at lunchtime and the nearest restaurants are a kilometer away. Dinner was very good. The local museums rival London and Paris for the quality of exhibitions, but are not crowded or expensive.

I've stayed at this hotel 9 or 10 times over the years, often with my wife. After this latest experience, never again! The problem started at check-in. The lady at Reception appeared to speak little German or English! I was tired after travelling all day and enquired about the Restaurant. She told me that it was unavailable due to a Group booking. Excuse me but I'm a paying guest at a supposedly 4-star hotel! As an aside, I wasn't even offered a "Welcome Drink" which to which my status with my Accor Loyalty Card entitles me. Reception gave me a menu from an external Italian restaurant who would deliver - I phoned them but they were closed on a Sunday. So, she then gave me a menu from a Greek restaurant - I phoned them but they did no deliveries whatsoever. I went to see the Restaurant Manager who informed me that they have had a staffing problem for the last 3 months and, in any case, there was no food - i.e. a Restaurant with no staff and no supplies! So, I went hungry that night. I tried to have a shower before retiring but there was no hot water. So, hungry and unwashed! This is how Mercure treats its guests. Next morning, I wanted to have a shower before breakfast. There was still no water pressure, just a trickle of cold water. I phoned Reception and was told there was a technical problem in the boiler room but an engineer had been called - it wasn't fixed by the time I checked-out. I complained to Mercure Customer Service who were sympathetic and wrote to me that the Manager would resolve the problem and give me the refund I'd requested. Despite 3 reminders, I've had no contact from the Manager and no refund. This hotel and, more so, its management are "not fit for purpose". Mercure need to get their act together.
