We stayed 5 nights here in early July as part of a coach party and to be honest was a little bit apprehensive -based on some earlier reviews. Well, we were more than satisfied !! We had a huge bedroom with plenty of storage space, a separate large kitchen with kettle and fridge, bathroom with shower and a large double balcony spreading across both the bedroom and kitchen. From the balcony we could glimpse Lake Garda -it was on the corner of the hotel, but, quiet enough. There is air conditioning which was much appreciated when we were there !It was on an upper floor, but, there is a lift. Breakfast was very impressive except for the fiddly little teacups with oddly designed handles-but, really I'm nit picking there ! Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of choice-both hot and cold-sets you up for the day. As we were part of a tour group we had to choose our evening meal in the morning. The choice again was absolutely fine-the food was really good and tasty and the service was great. Evening meal was a buffet starter followed by pasta then a meat/fish dish with vegetables followed by a small dessert-often a cake. I think vegetarians were well catered for . Alcohol was available for purchase and added to your Room number. Plenty of seating around the hotel and the pool is lovely-when we had time to use it. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel and the area is so beautiful ! We went with an Edwards Coach trip and had a wonderful time-so much to see in the area. Every member of staff was unfailingly friendly and polite and all worked hard to ensure everything went smoothly -a splendid hotel !

We consider that Gardaland Hotel is the most convenient option for visiting the Gardaland Resort theme park. The park is not very far and the Hotel provides a free shuttle bus to and from the park. Our 3 nights stay included the park tickets for me, my wife and our daughter plus the tickets for Sea Life (which is a nice addition). The Hotel is very clean, the food selection is good and tasty. We opted for the dinner package at Wonder Restaurant and we are happy with our choice. The staff is helpful and friendly and even though they address you in Italian, they speak and understand English.

The hotel itself was lovely, but the staff were amazing - especially in the dining room, they couldn't have been more helpful! The hotel has pretty much everything you would need for somewhere you don't plan on spending any time in, and why would you with all the amazing Italian country side around?? The bedroom was huge and functional, so seemed a bit sp****, but again, you didn't need anything extra. The only problem is it's in the middle of nowhere, with only big outlet malls nearby. The front desk were really helpful though! When we arrived in the area we had no idea of public transport as there's not much help online, but the front desk had loads of information! The breakfast was pretty standard fare, but there was plenty of it and, as I said, the staff there were just amazing with their help (my partner has dietry requirements and they accomodated them so well, and actually went out of their way to do so).

Soggiornato due notti con mezza pensione. Ottimo albergo grazie alla sua posizione, al servizio e al personale presente. Buona la colazione e la scelta per la cena. Le piscine sul retro così come il giardino garantiscono un ottimo relax durante la giornata. La struttura non è recentissima ma ben mantenuta. Alcune camere sono sprovviste di aria condizionata ma comunque dotate di ventilazione, nonché pulite e funzionali. Rapporto qualità prezzo consigliato.

Cet hôtel est une très belle découverte. Il est situé idéalement. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, à l’écoute et très disponibles. Hôtel très propre, le personnel est très agréable et très serviable. Le petit-déjeuner est remarquable avec des produits frais et faits maison. Un vrai plaisir pour commencer la journée. Myself and my son stayed at the Corte Cavalli in Sept 23. It's a beautiful old estate 8-10 min by car / cab (15 Euro) away from the centre of Peschiera. The hotel itself can be found at the bottom of a long driveway and is is made up of a number of buildings which also house the reception, restaurant and wellness centre. I have to say that this is one of the most charming hotels I've stayed at for a number of reasons. The rooms themselves are typical old style Italian but with everything you need including air con and beautiful bathrooms. They are cleaned daily to a high standard. Beds very comfy. All staff are warm and friendly and bend over backwards to be of assistance. The pool area is well equipped, clean and very peaceful being surrounded by fields. We stayed half board and the quality of the food was excellent. The only slight negative was the repetition throughout the week. It's a 3 course menu with a few choices for each course each evening. There was something new each day but still, in my opinion, a few more options throughout the week would be beneficial. Waiting staff are helpful and are multi-lingual so don't worry if your Italian is a little rusty! If you dont have a car, Peschiera itself has a port so the ferries which operate as water taxis, can take you to other destinations round the lake - timetables are available online or from the hotel / port booking office. There is also a train station. Verona is 20 mins away and Venice 1.5 hrs by train so perfect for day trips. The hotel has bike hire which is recommended if you don't have a car as constant cabs into town can prove costly. The wellness centre consists of two saunas, large whirlpool and two sensory showers. There is also a treatment room for massages ( charge applies) The weather was great with an average of 25 degrees. Im told its like this in May and September. July and August can be very hot and humid and the hotel and resort gets busy. The upshot is, if you want a friendly, peaceful place to stay in beautiful surroundings to recharge your batteries and read that book you have had bedside your bed for the last 12 months, then this really is the place for you.
