아르파이우 - 오데요 사스(Arpaiu)

Definitely the room was stunning with ocean view right in front of you once you open the window from your room. Chill with wine pairing with wind breezing. The host is helpful too.

ホテルまでキツめの坂を延々と登ります。息切れします。本当に道が合っているか不安になって電話してみると、親切に教えて下さり、ルートを記載したメールも送って下さいました。その後、ちゃんと到着出来たかの電話もしてくださいました。ちなみに、事前にチェックインする時間を連絡しておく必要があります。ホテル内に入るためには暗証番号が必要だからです。ファミリールームを利用しましたが、階段で2階降りなくてはならず、デカめのキャリーバッグを持っていた私たちには苦行でした。かつ、暗くて階段が見えずとても怖かったです。お部屋はとても広く、火は使えませんがキッチンがありました。石造りで素敵なデザイン。ボディソープが6本置いてあったのは謎でした。無料のミネラルウォーターがあるとの記載でしたが、無かったので残念です。エアコンの効きが悪く寒かったです。

We were disappointed with the lack of flexibility and communication from the Hotel when our flight was cancelled due to flooding at Dubai Airport. Despite requesting a discount or credit for our cancelled reservation, it was declined. The Hotel's policy should take into account unforeseen circumstances like this. Additionally, the lack of response to emails and inability to book in advance for wine & food tastings is concerning. Think twice before booking with them if communication is important to you. Service may be lacking if this is any indication.

We so much enjoyed our stay! After a little issue finding the place (we came by car and weren't sure where to park. Most folks come by train and don't have an issue) we were warmly greeted by Tatyana and Paulo and assisted with parking and our luggage. (cell signal is spotty, so get as much detailed information beforehand as possible). Our room was not large, but clean. Simply appointed, there was bottled water, candy, and a bottle of sparkling wine for our sunset toast on the balcony upstairs. The house was not full of guests, though the other family there was of no disturbance to us, and we all enjoyed the balcony together at times. While this is a simple, no-fuss accommodation, the views and hospitality make up for any amenity you may feel it lacks. Remember, you're in the middle of a quaint village, living amongst people who have lived in this village for decades. Respect to them, and an attitude of simple living, will ensure your time here is pleasurable. We opted for the breakfast, and were not disappointed. Tatyana served a traditional fare and plenty of hot coffee and juice. We were free to come and go at will, and leave our bags on check-out day until we were ready to leave the town. We would definitely return for another visit at Arpaiu. (There are many stairs and hills to climb. Ability to climb MUST be taken into consideration before booking)

We had just one night to spend in Manarola, and selected Arpaiu for its location and intimate size. We were delighted with our rooms. They were spotless and comfortable. And the rooftop area, open to all guests, was spectacular. We knew it would be a "hike" up the hill from the train station. It was a bit difficult to communicate with the owners in advance, but once we found it, and entered with the door code provided, we found our names affixed to the doors of our rooms (two). We particularly enjoyed the rooftop area at night overlooking the Mediterranean, and in the morning. The hostess at breakfast time was very helpful.

We had a wonderful time in this cliff-side home with one of the most spectacular views in the world. The hostess, Tatyana, was a very kind and joyful woman. We enjoyed chatting with her and she made a terrific breakfast for us - ham, cheese, croissants with pistachio and chocolate cream, yogurt with blueberries, raspberries and black berries. We will definitely return to Arpaiu. We hope Tatyana is here when we come next time! She was simply delightful.

Tania was very nice and helpful. She was very sweet to our kids. Google maps will not get you to this place. You have to read the welcome email and follow the directions exactly. Try not to bring a lot of luggage because it is a long walk with a lot of incline from the train station. Views from the top floor common area are beautiful! We had the bottom most room with no windows and it was tight for the four of us. The sunset from the top floor was worth it!

At the moment we stepped in to the family room, it felt weird - many weird and unknown objects found in the room which were definitely not decorative items; many many holes on the ceiling which we didn't even know if there's hidden camera anywhere; a small side window which can view in from the street outside; and worst of all, a glass ceiling that anyone can view from the room above our level. It was extremely weird and uncomfortable for my husband and I to stay in the unit for 3 nights. Within half an hour, we contacted ******* that we would want a refund as it is extremely uncomfortable staying in the room - our privacy and security is at stake with all the glass window and ceiling. To our disappointment, hotel didn't want to admit anything wrong with their room and refused to do ANY refund at all, yet complaint about our behaviour to ******* - when in fact we didn't even meet anyone in the hotel, and left the room in ready-to-be-rented-out condition. End up we last minute booked somewhere else and left the room empty for 3 nights without being able to get a single cent back. DO NOT EVER BOOK THE FAMILY ROOM!

Stayed in the SAARGU room which had no view but was built with rocks all around so you felt like you were in a cave. The staff only communicated via what’s app. We ran out of toilet paper and the charging outlets didn’t work. It wasn’t until we were packing up to check out did she respond/ show up. The couple checking in then also showed up, came into our room to drop there bags used our bathroom and changed. All before we even checked out. Very uncomfortable and strange. The view from the common area was beautiful but that’s it. Also we were never told in advance that parking would be $85. You have to walk up a very steep hill and this place is hard to find.
