Orchards House - the Hidden Tribe

Amazing place with a great view. Hospitality is of top notch. Food served is worth the price. A little walk from the road which actually makes it better. Was here for Holi, had the best holi ever. Shubham and V***n make it a point that everyone is involved. Per***ent stay whenever in ***ali!

We had the best time here! Me and my partner stayed over the Chris**as/New Year period. V***n and all the staff couldn’t do enough for us, and V***n was amazing at bringing people together and creating a sociable and welcoming a**osphere - there were games and group trips happening most days and we made a lot of lovely friends here. He even bought a cake for my partner’s birthday. We love walking and V***n was able to recommend some great hikes in the local area as well as for our onward journey to Parvarti valley - we were able to plan a great itinerary with his advice and had an amazing time. If you’re in ***ali, this is the place to stay ☺️

Being an experienced traveller and a Genius member on ***********, I got their Triple room on a discounted price. They did not give us the room booked and started to explain the different categories under the same type of rooms on our arrival. We settled for a double room (better according to them! ) As a guest, this story already doesn't work and is the beginning of confusion after our long journey. The entire hotel was empty and the booked room was actually squatted by the ***agers itself. The cherry on the cake was getting a call by A*** while we are having dinner asking for the payment and to cancel the booking on *********** so that the booked room now can be available to others (Excuse me??). Lack of consideration and trust followed by the ego game of Vinay of asking me to take the money back at night and do it in the morning. Childish games. Lesson of politeness in his own arrogance was given to me by him while sitting over a table smoking & drinking. Such idiosyncrasies at such levels. Makes me laugh. I am not expecting or hoping for any replies and a wargame of whatsoever. I have said what was needed in consideration for my fellow travellers and moving community. For the new tourists, be cautious and not be blinded by only the reviews.
