Excellent service. Staff all very friendly and helpful, especially Toni on reception who looked after us extremely well. Perfect location next to marina. Lovely room with great views. Good variety of quality food for breakfast. Very quiet, yet there is a wide variety of bars,cafes,restaurants,shops within easy walking distance. The beach is just a short walk along the harbour. Really nice Sunday market. Drach caves just 300m away. Would happily recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a peaceful, restful holiday.

Just back from a week at the Apartments. They are fantastic, great location and the staff could not do enough for us. Quality of apartments and building is excellent spotlessly clean. Great food at the restaurant and its a very peaceful place. Had a Marina view which was fantastic and fascinating watching the boat yard opposite working on the boats and how the craned them in and out of the water. Porto Cristo centre a short walk away and lovely shops, bars and cafes. Can't wait to go back.

We booked this accommodation due to the fabulous views and found a deal through TripAdvisor through booking agent ‘Stay for long’ I ensured we booked a ‘Marina view’- however on arrival we were allocated a standard room in block A ( apartment 1) I queried this immediately as this isn’t what we had paid for. We were asked for proof on the booking that it stated ‘Marina’ view as their booking stated ‘standard room’ I’m not entirely sure whether we will get to the bottom of the confusion of the booking ( as we contacted Stay for long and they assured us that they had communicated this to the PortoDrach. I have also noted other reviews on here who appear to have room discrepancies so clearly there appears to be a communication error) The Marina view apartment wasn’t available until the next day so we were compensated with a free breakfast ( this is valued at 14 euros per person- put it this way, it was pleasant but I’m not sure it was worth the cost) Apartment A1 can only be described as ‘Dark and depressing’ . It’s a huge apartment with two floors - the bedroom is in the basement with two huge en suite bathrooms. It had a tiny double bed that had seen better days . They could do so much more with this apartment due to the size. The next morning we were allocated apartment A8. This was the room I had hoped for. The view was perfect. The bed was two singles making into a super king with a modern bathroom kitchen/lounge. We spent many happy times sat on the veranda taking in the view. The staff are happy and accommodating. Pool towel vouchers are issued and can be exchanged at the pool for towels. Please note it’s important to hand the towels or vouchers back into reception on Leaving. We had left the pool towels in the room however we were told to go and get them to hand them back on check out. I suspect this is due to theft of pool towels- it did feel as though the staff didn’t trust us not to return them. ( Aqua coloured pool towels aren’t really that appealing!) Porto Cristo itself is wonderful . The perfect place to explore. On Sunday there is a market on the seafront. We hired a car and managed to park outside of the hotel and on other days on street parking. Would I return? Yes most definitely for the views alone! However I would ask for the maintenance team to pay close attention to the tall tree in the middle of block A. It was obstructing the view of a few lower level apartments and needs a bit of a trim!

Wonderful stay at Portodrach apartments. Huge apartment for three of us - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies each with table and chairs and sun loungers and fabulous marina views. We were self catering and the kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast. Used the excellent hyper market to stock up with supplies and also the Spar shop just 5 minutes away for delicious pastries . Quiet resort but with a good selection of restaurants - our favourites were Calypso and Sirocco. The staff were always so helpful and always had a smile - Toni, Anna, Matt and Pasqual. Great accommodation in a beautiful resort - in short, absolutely fabulous. Highly recommend and wish I were still there!

Booked a marina view, really lovely apartment with a huge balcony and a great view. Very peaceful, good buffet breakfast if you book for that. A lovely resort with some decent spanish restaurants, nice to walk up to the viewpoints and to see Nadals catamoran harboured. Prices a bit higher than some of the British resorts nearby, but worth it to stay in a lovely place. Only downside for me was a terrifying high speed transfer from airport to resort, jet 2 haven't asked for any feedback yet but the driver seemed to think he was in a rally!

Very good breakfast buffet. Pleasant staff. Good enough apartment with sliding doors giving more space. This hotel has two blocks and, to go from the street to the second block ( where our apartment - 19 was), we had to go up in one lift, walk through reception to another lift, go up two floors, walk across the car park, walk down two short flights of steps (7 and 8 steps), take a third lift down two floors to a small hall off which was our room. Apartment 19 is in the connection between the two blocks, is set back from the front of the hotel,has a restricted view of the marina, a balcony which loses the sun completely by 12.30 (in early November) and is directly above the hotel kitchen…hence cooking smells from late morning. The south and west sides of the ‘main’ block of the hotel seems like the place to be for more sun and better views.

We had a fabulous 6 night stay here, the reception staff were so welcoming, the apartment was spacious with 2 balconies and fantastic views - definitely worth paying for the marina view. The beds were 'firm' but good linen and comfy pillows. The breakfast was a bit cramped at times but good choice of cereal, fruit, pastries and yogurts etc..... being veggie it would've been nice to have had mushrooms and tomatoes just to have a bit more choice as no meat alternative. We ate in the restaurant 1 night and it was delicious. Easy walk over to the main town with plenty of restaurants with very good food, nice cafes and quite a few shops. The pool area was better than I expected and always plenty of sun beds. Caves are a must..... absolutely stunning. Highly recommend this little gem, we didn't travel further afield as our break was relaxed and short but seemed easy to get buses elsewhere. Thank you team for making our stay so pleasant x

We have just returned from a 4 night stay in a premium 2 bed apartment at this resort. We arrived late (1:30am) and were allocated to a different room to what we had booked which was really disappointing. As it was so late we had no choice but to sleep here. In the morning we got to go to our correct apartment and wow. We were on the 5th floor on the corner of the building in room 507. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable for a group of 5 people. The views across the marina were wonderful and we loved just watching the world go by on the balcony. The staff on reception were friendly and polite. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Nice place in a nice setting, beach not far away and it's flat to get there ! I personally liked the pool which is square(ish) and with flat walls so you can actually do some swimming in it, though it was a bit chilly ! We had room 502, on the back. Good points : FANTASTIC kitchen for self catering, it had the lot : microwave, full size oven / hob / grill, kettle, toaster and a full size fridge freezer ! Big bathroom with two sinks (though smaller but separate bath room and toilet would be a more practical use of the space). Balcony (albeit without the great view of the marina etc). Not so good : I cannot understand why this apartment is "open plan", it means zero privacy. Get some doors fitted !
