바트슈세트 루그넷(Vardshuset Lugnet)

Well maintained place with easy check in even though we arrived late. Comfortable beds in a clean room. Great breakfast buffet. When we stayed here there was a really snowy landscape which made this place even more cozy.

The new owner is very accommodating and is updating and renovating the hotel. The hotel has the most beautiful location next to the river. Some parts of the facilities were a bit dated, for example our bathroom, but it was still nice and clean. Breakfast was a small buffe, but fresh and we could find everything we wanted. It's close to a big road but it wasn't to noisy to get a good night's sleep. I think this will turn into a true little gem with all the improvements that's happening.

Me and my partner stayed at Värdshuset Lugnet for 3 nights. This Hotel is right by the water in Malung and it is so beautiful. The owner had just bought this place 4 weeks ago, but took so good care of us and made us feel welcome. New towels and cleaned room every day, Carpaccio and Pasta Pesto was amazing. We will definetlely come to this place again :)

This hotel is in a beautiful area along a river outside of Malung, but the rooms are small and not particularly comfortable. It is a rustic property rather than a comfortable hotel. On the other hand, if one is looking for an adequate place to stay for a couple days at a very reasonable price, then this could be the right place. We hosted a dinner for 9 relatives in the dining room while staying here, and we were very happy with the food. Service is slow because there is limited staff, but we just wanted to spend time together so that was not a problem. For the quality of the food, the price was very reasonable. Breakfast is served in the same dining area, which includes a choice of indoor and outdoor seating, and it was fine. We asked about doing laundry while we were there, and one of the staff members did laundry for us for a reasonable charge.

Decent over night stay. Had to change room as our initial room was missing a window. In our new room, none of the drains in the 2 sinks worked.

Nice room. Good service. Nutritious breakfast.

Even though this place definitely needs some renovation and mending, it has its own very special charm. The location right next to a beautiful river/forest landscape right out of a Bob Ross painting is just about reason enough to visit this place. We stayed for two nights, the first one we were there all alone. Still we got a very nice buffet for breakfast and were treated really nicely. They have a restaurant with view on the river, which serves as breakfast room fir hotel guests as well. Our room was nothing special but there's enough space and it was clean. The bathroom is rather small though. It's a really special place - go see for yourself!

The hotel is quite run down, but the room was clean, and the surroundings were nice: green lawn, swings + trampoline for kids, and by the river. We had a large room, i.e. bedroom + livingroom with bunker beds in the corner allowing some to sleep, others to watch TV and others to work- really good for family.
