Super island, great front line hotel, food was also up to par, great experience diving full day swimming and free canoeing from the hotel and everything else was up to par, staff was very nice. Wonderful memories to last a lifetime I recommend it

The people at the hotel are very friendly and always willing to help. It's very clean, and I felt truly special during my stay. The food is great, and the dinners on the beach are wonderful. The beach itself is very beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel based on my honest experience.

Firstly if you are looking for public/ local island – Fulidhoo is best place to stay. We had truly best time in Fulidhoo, we used to roam around the island morning / evening / night (any time). We can find good crowd doing fishing (at night), playing with Stingray or Sharks at sea shore – you can easily pass more than an hour watching these things every day. We never felt bored for staying 3 Nights here. In Fulidhoo, I would recommend Kinan retreat for stay. Property is at best location, just a min walk from jetty and budget friendly (80 to 100$ per night including food) – depends on season. I contacted property directly via Instagram, they are very responsive and supported us in all means starting from booking and provided all guidance/ suggestions for transfer and activities. Firstly they are not money minded, they suggest anything only upon our request. They have good contact with nearby properties, if we are planning to travel to any island from there, they will support us fully by getting some contacts from those island or by arranging speed boat transfer – at very very reasonable price. We had snorkelling 3 point excursion – Shark, Turtle and Coral point. One of the best moments of our life. They just charged 50$ per person (close to 1.5 - 2 hours of excursion) for all 3 points including photographs. Same excursion for single point in private island they charge close 80 to 100$. They do arrange speed boat transfer from Airport to Fulidhoo, which costed just 40$ one way per person, whereas Private Island charges 300 to 500$ per person. Later one night we stayed in private Island water villa but we had best time in this Kinan hotel. We missed our stay here. Thanks for all staff for making our stay very friendly and hassle free.

This is a wonderful local resort that is very impressive to stay. The owner are very nice, helpful, and skillful. Shinan did his great job since the airport transfer to our departure. He also advise us to play with rays and sharks around the resort. The resort itself is a 3 stories building, steps away from the beach and pier. It takes an hour to commute from the airport to the resort by speed boat. Overall stay was as nice as the local resort and the price can provide. I wish you all great time at Kinan Retreat.

The hotel, staff, location, view everything was so so so good. The rooms was super neat and clean, exceptional sea view and such a polite and helpful staff. Will 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Fulidhoo, Maldives. Faisal, Shinan and Sarey were wonderful hosts 💕 The hotel also organises the best of excursions.

We booked into Kinan as part of a dive and stay package with Fulidhoo dive. The guest house is very clean and well kept. The team are attentive and helpful. They arranged the transfers for us from the airport and also an excursion to shark point. The location is great. Right by the pier so that you can pop along and see the rays and sharks that hang out by the pier anytime! The dive shop is next door and a lovely stretch of beach is just outside. We were half board and the food was consistently plentiful and good. I would recommend staying here. The rooms with a sea view are the nicest.

Kinan is a very nice place with lovely hosts. The rooms are small but clean and right at the beachfront. If you have a room without a balcony I highly recommend to use the clotheslines upstairs :D We hardly spent any time inside and didn't care much about the size or the windows directed towards the shared porch. If you want to spend more time in your room and want privacy you should book a room upstairs with front view. I loved the jetty right by the hotel which is always full of life. I could have spent the whole day (and night) sitting there observing stingrays and sharks or snorkeling in the shallow water. The area in front of the hotel is great to relax in the hammock or on the deckchairs provided (not a bikini beach though) and to go for a swim. A beautiful reef for snorkeling and watching sunsets/sunrises is only a minute away at bikini beach. The porch is great to cool down a bit, enjoy some fresh juice and still have a wonderful ocean view. It's also a good place to meet new friends and exchange info or experience. The meals are simple but very tasty. Breakfast on the porch is a perfect start to the day but dinner on the beach by the waterfront with beautiful illumination is a total highlight! The hotel offers tours but since we went diving each and every day we didn't book any of them. The whaleshark tour we wanted to join was cancelled due to few guests and if you want to take part you should ask as early as possible and maybe become active in finding other guests to join. Supermarkets are all around to buy water or anything else for your daily use. If you are not looking for a resort-like experience but a local island with local rules to stick to (which didn't seem so hard to me) it's a great place to stay. Faisal, his sister and everybody else in the team was always very friendly and made our stay wonderful! Thank you and see you again!

KINAN Retreat !! This place has the best of everything on the Island. Its right in front of the beach with a beautiful view, very close to the jetty so you can spot sting rays, nurse sharks and black tip baby sharks any time of the day. I stayed at this beautiful place for 4 nights with my sister and what an unforgettable experience it was. We were greeted by Faisal at the jetty. Faisal is managing this hotel and doing it amazingly. He is a go to guy for anything you want. We were welcomed with refreshing drinks and then he gave us a tour of the island. By this time I was already in love with the hospitality of this place. The excursion team of Kinan: Shambo, Sarey, Shinan and Faisal makes sure that every guest on the excursion has comfortable gears and have a good experience with marine life. Kinan also organised a traditional Music and Dance show for the guests. They also invited us to dance with them 😊It was full of energy. We really enjoyed that show. Can’t wait to visit them again !!
