Palm Beach Island Resort & Spa Maldives

We arrived to an odd location, not a normal Marriott experience. The check in desk was small, not what one would expect for a large hotel, or resort. Luckily there were no queues, it would have been a very long wait. Check in staff were good, friendly, no issues at all. In our group were two mums, one dad, and 5 kids (ages - 14,11,11,10,8) We headed over to the kids pool area (the main reason we selected this hotel venue). The whole area was very inferior looking. Small pool area, slide was not too bad, the surroundings seemed very drab, and didn't seem clean at all. The bar looked half stocked, the service was slow. No one greeted us with a smile, we didnt feel welcome at all, we felt like we were a burden to the few staff that were there. We had to try and clean the table ourselves, there was dirty water on the floor area by the bar, where the tables are, some of this was spoilt drink, that we had to ask someone to clean up. Food came fairly fast, but was worse than a fast food place for quality. Trash bags left out by the bin. no one handing out pool towels (they were hidden, so we had to grab them ourselves). The kids complained that the pool water was freezing - this is disgraceful, you are saving money on not heating the pool! Pool bar shut at 6pm, along with slide, and waterfall. So bad. You have to pay for beach lounge - cheapskate hotel! The rooms are actually very good, and worthy of the price. If you just need to stay in the room, and you dont need to use their restaurants, or kids pool then you will be fine. For us, basically we will never come back, nor could i recommend this. Far superior hotels 45 mins south.

Ci sono stata una decina di anni fa ed è rimasta nel cuore l'isola dei miei sogni. Il paradiso in tutti i sensi dalla natura alla gestione del villaggio se potessi ci tornerei anche domani, ma il vero viaggiatore cambia meta e così il viaggio più bello sarà quello che ancora devi fare ......

Ho soggiornato in questo splendido resort che si può definire un vero e proprio paradiso! Avevamo una vera e propria casa, la numero 33, con spiaggia bianca tipo borotalco. Cibo ottimo e personale fantastico! la vacanza più bella della mia vita che ricordo ancora come un sogno!

Che tristezza pensare che non vedrò più il mio paradiso sulla terra. Non ho mai scritto una recensione sul Palm pure se era la mia meta preferita per paura che la scoprissero in troppi. L'ultima volta che siamo andati era il 2012, era già la 6 volta. Impossibile descrivere la perfezione: mare strepitoso, cibo squisitamente italiano dalla a alla z (per me che sono intollerante a tutte le varie spezie e sapori non italiani non è da poco), tutti i servizi che uno potrebbe desiderare: 2 escursioni gratuite al giorno, spesso si vedevano i Delfini che ci riaccompagnavano all'isola, campi da tennis, campo da squosh, biliardino, escursioni con barca veloce, escursioni con moto d'acqua,persino un noleggio cassette. Colazione /pranzo/merenda /cena complete di ogni cosa difficile dimenticare le crepes con nutella pomeridiane e il the alla menta, la pasta meravigliosa del pranzo e della cena ed i filetti alla griglia, hamburger di pesce, il gelato alla papaya...mai mangiato così bene neanche in Italia. Il personale maldiviano che ci lavorava erano tutti così carini sorridenti, si ricordavano delle persone a distanza di un anno dall'altro. Per favore ridatemi il mio paradisooooo, era bello così come era senza cambiare nulla. Era l'Italia alle maldive....che darei per tornarci così come era, che malinconia. Si può fare qualcosa per riaverlo in quel modo?

我們在這個度假勝地住了7個晚上。我們很喜歡住在這裏，一個很好的島-真的很大，（在瞭解馬爾代夫後）-你可以步行，騎自行車，跑步-衹要你你喜歡。食物很好，房間-我會説，還可以。沒什麼不好的，但也沒什麼特別好。重裝一下空調是個好主意，因為它們相當舊，效果也不明顯。
