Fabulous hotel and staff. Stayed for a week and had a wonderful time. Hotel spotless. Breakfast has so much choice.All staff are extremely helpful. professional and kind. Owner Marco wants all guests to enjoy their holiday, relax and take in all Malcesine has to offer. Highly recommended and have booked a return visit for next year! Thank you Marco and team.

The hotel manager was incredibly rude! On my sisters wedding day we were supposed to be getting ready in her room. I arrived to the rudest welcome I've ever received in the the hospitality industry. The manager told us off for asking to go up to her room, told us we had to be quiet putting his finger to his lips like I was an infant! He did not seem excited but very derogatory about my sisters wedding and quite frankly ruined our morning getting ready making everyone feel uneasy and not welcome. I would not recommend this hotel as the manager is simply awful.

Hotel Vega is by far the best hotel in Malcesine, in the best position - right on the lakeside - with the nicest, friendly, good humoured yet exceptionally professional staff, you could wish for. The whole experience is, without doubt, one of the best holidays we have had. Malcesine is the finest resort on Lake Garda, and the Hotel Vega is perfectly positioned to enjoy the lake to its fullest. Not right in the centre of town, but just close enough to the marina where the boat service is, all the bars, shops and restaurants and within easy walking distance to the cable car service to the top of Monte Baldo. We could not fault the holiday in any way. Thank you again to Marco and his staff.

I fortunately had not used this hotel whilst in Malcesine for the celebration of my daughter’s wedding. As on the morning of the wedding I was ushered past who I now know to be the hotel manager because he was not happy about the bridal party helping the bride to get ready for her wedding even though he had previously been informed that my daughter was there to get married. I latter met the manager lurking in the corridor in a very odd way. My husband “father of the bride” was not allowed inside the hotel to collect the bride he was made to sit outside of reception. I would end this review by advising anyone who would like to get married in Malcesine not to stay in this hotel.

Second year of staying at the beautiful, clean, perfect Hotel Vega where we had a lake view room. Marco and all his team are just amazing. While eating a perfectly laid out breakfast with lovely, fresh food and fantastic lake views from all angles and being looked after and entertained by the lovely waiting staff, we always returned to our room to find they had been serviced while we were at breakfast. The reception staff never failed to greet us with their lovely smiles and always wished us a lovely day. We would highly recommend this hotel in beautiful Malcesine. Nigel & Sue

Our second stay at Vega and like before the service provided by Marco and his team was top notch The hotel is spotless the staff very helpful. Hotel is ideally situated right on the lake and only a short walk to the port and restaurants/shops but is surprisingly quiet Look forward to going back

It has all been said before in most of the reviews but this Hotel is just AMAZING - Marco & the staff, decor, food etc ! Room on street side fine with large balcony. Most days bedroom was cleaned whilst we were at breakfast. I haven't seen anything about the early breakfast on departure day - it was wonderful - the first time a hotel has laid on the usual excellent breakfast very early in the morning. Very much hoping to make the journey again

Lovely hotel with a great location. Staff were very warm and friendly. Room was spotless. Recommend getting a room with a lake view. Would love to return again in the future to beautiful malcesine and would definitely book this hotel again.

Staff were so friendly and helpful at all times - couldn’t have done more for us. Atmosphere was so relaxing and nice and the location was amazing. Have already recommend this location to anyone we know thinking of going to Italy - real 5 star hotel.
