호텔 우마이나(Hotel Humaina)

A few years ago, (August 2016) me and my family (husband and two small children) got lost by car in the mountains of Malaga. It was dark and terrifying and we all got very anxious. In the middle of the night, we gladly found this hotel (which was not ours) and rang the doorbell. The manager was so very kind: he even opened up the kitchen, prepared us food and offered us a bottle of wine and did the phone call to our Airbnb. The hotel was fully booked, except for a room for two. They organized two extra beds in it, so we could sleep the four of us. We enjoyed breakfast and I promised to leave a good review on Tripadvisor. A little (!!!) late, but here it is. Still thinking of the hospitality we received that night.

This hotel needs proper improvement in maintenance. We were welcomed in the main entrance with rubbish in the ground from a nearby bin. Next thing we saw was a pile of plastic bag full of rubbish by the hotel wall. The room was ok - but not after looking out the window: we were right on top of those rubbish bags and their smell! To the credit of the hotel, they removed the bags - but only after asking them to do it. Then we decided to go to the pool. Water was full of dead insects and leaves. On top of that there was a frog swimming in the water! We really had to ask, weather the pool was for swimming or for decoration. For swimming, they said. But did not bother to clean it. Did it myself. Setting is nice and quiet, but do not except open views: it is in a valley.

The perfect place to relax and connect with nature. We booked the suite which was amazing with views of the mountains and the pool area! Full of windows, beautifully furnished, clean and modern bathroom. The pool was SO refeshing and always kept clean. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and they were both so delicious with great service. The whole property was emaculately well kept and every staff member we encountered was very friendly. Situated just steps away from some great hiking trails with panoramic views of Malaga! I can't wait to go back and would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat :) Thank you for the incredible stay!!

Dice estar en Málaga y está a 45 minutos en una montaña, sin señalamientos, obscuro, frío, sin internet, peligroso para los viajeros, es un hotel de 0 estrellas y está marcado con 3, no debería estar en esta plataforma, no es mal hotel, pero viejo, feo y lejos si está.

Pésima ubicación. No recomendable. No localizable. Esta mal indicado en la carretera de acceso. Deberían de especificar el tipo de acceso de cara a poder llegar de una forma más confortable. Si fuera así, podría ser más atractivo el lugar. Ni siquiera luces, ni aparcamiento. Nos perdimos más de 5 veces.

Llamé ayer para decir que llegaría el día de la reserva sobre las 18/19 horas, me atendió una tal Cristina y me dijo que no había problema alguno si llego antes de las 22 h. Me presento en el hotel, después de una carretera con muchas curvas que se hace un poco pesada, sobre las 17,30 y mi sorpresa que no veo ningún coche en la puerta ni en el parking del hotel … ya me mosqueo, sigo para dentro y llego a la terraza, que estaba en obras, me dicen que allí no puedo aparcar y le contesto que sólo para bajar el equipaje y entonces salen tres personas (el recepcionista, la cocinera y otro que era el albañil) nadie más en el hotel, ni un alma, y al unísono me dicen que no hay agua en el hotel, bien esto ya lo había leído en alguna reseña anterior, ¿cómo que no hay agua? ¿Cómo no me lo dijo ayer la tal Cristina? Se disculpan, me mienten diciendo que van a enviar una cuba de agua, la cocinera le dice a mi esposa que ha preparado un montón de solomillos…..no sé para quien si allí no hay nadie, se lo hago saber y me dicen que sí que los clientes regresan por la noche. El que parecía el obrero me dice que ponga una denuncia en la guardia civil o policía, no hay cobertura en el móvil, me ponen con un puesto de la guardia civil que a la vez me informan que debo de denunciar en Málaga capital, relleno una hoja de reclamación y oigo al “obrero “ que el dueño es un sin vergüenza y un estafador que eso ( lo que me ha hecho a mí) no se hace y me insta de nuevo a denunciar en el juzgado. Pido el importe que he pagado y ne dicen que lo tengo que hablar con la agencia, vuelvo de camino a Málaga para coger cobertura en el móvil y busco otro hotel donde hospedarnos ya que estoy de turismo por Andalucía. ES UNA VERGÜENZA QUE OCURRA ESTO. Que engañen tan *********mente a la gente. ESTE HOTEL DEBEN DARLE DD BAJA EN CUALQUIER AGENCIA SERIA…ES INTOLERABLE QUE UNO PAGUE POR ADELANTADO Y EFECTÚE EL SINUOSO VIAJE PARA LLEGAR A UN HOTEL QUE ESTÁ INOPERATIVO ¿CÓMO PUEDE UN HOTEL ABRIR SUS PUERTAS SI NO TIENE AGUA? ES INAUDITO HACER DESDE MÁLAGA 28!KMS PARA QUE SE RÍAN EN TU CARA.

Muy buen sitio para desconectar. esta situado en plena naturaleza, lejos del ruido y el estrés del día a día. Personal muy amable. Me pusieron muchas facilidades en recepción para conocer la zona y los lindos paisajes.

Wunderschönes Setting, nette Mitarbeiterin, dafuer der eine Stern. Leider reichte mein Spanisch nicht aus um vor Ort die Beschwerde zu formulieren. Kommen um 11:00 mit dem Taxi aus Malaga an, wie zuvor per Email angekündigt, Zimmer fertig, beim Check in wird uns dann mitgeteilt das Restaurant sei heute zu. Die nächste Gelegenheit sei mit dem Auto in 10 min zu erreichen. Schweren Herzens entschliessen wir uns dann, die Nacht zu streichen und schon heute, wie eigentlich für den Folgetag geplant, zurück zu wandern. Kein Versuch die Situation zu retten, keine Entschuldigung, nur ein bedauernder Blick wurde uns zu Abschied geschenkt, ob wir wirklich laufen wollen? Ich kann nur jedem raten die Konditionen vor dem Ende der Stornierierungszeit noch mal gegen zu checken, wir sind sehr enttäuscht, hatten dann aber doch noch eine schöne Wanderung.

Quería utilizar una caja Wonderbox para pagar nuestra estancia. A pesar de que Wonderbox me dijo que tenían contrato con este hotel, éste último lo negó. Yo cancele la reserva telefónicamente pero el hotel lo niega (miente totalmente) y, como cometí el error de dar los números de mi tarjeta de crédito para hacer la reserva antes de enterarme de que el hotel se negaba a aceptar una caja Wonderbox, el hotel me cobró la estancia sin haber ido al hotel en ningún momento. Mienten mucho, el responsable del hotel no atiende ninguna llamada y son un auténtico desastre (falta de profesionalidad absoluta, por decirlo educadamente).
