안차니티아 리조트(Antsanitia Resort)

Beautiful hotel with nice surroundings , a nice beach and a great restaurant. The hotel offers a large variety of accommodations, from 'simple' rooms to pool villas. All set in a garden or in a forested area, where you can see lemurs. Bring a flashlight to watch them at night.

No place is perfect but this place ticked a lot of the key boxes for me. Colorful, well designed individual bungalows, a nicely laid out reception, an outdoor restaurant near the pool, direct access to the beach ... and lemurs that run through the place a few times a day! It is a bit pricey, but it is a beautiful place and I would definitely recommend. My only small criticism would be it's very sparse menu and the lack of flexibility by the restaurant to make accommodations for dietary restrictions. Also the part of the beach where you can actually get in is a bit of a walk but it's pretty and safe.

What a disappointing trip. My husband and I were looking forward to a few days enjoying sitting on a balcony watching the ocean. Traveling with another couple, we had both reserved ocean room bungalows. Our friends had a beautiful ocean view while we were placed in the cabin behind them with a view of a wall with some tropical trees. When I checked at the desk, I was given a strange story about our room being an ocean view though in a different category. (I speak French so my confusion in her explanation had nothing to do with language). I asked if our room rate would be discounted. The answer was no. We paid the very same as our friends with the ocean view. About an hour later, the hotel offered us a villa located quite a distance away that did not have A/C. We declined given that we were in the hot season. The grounds of the resort are beautiful and the food was good, though it was hard to get a glass of white wine. For a resort like this, it was surprising that white wine was not readily available. When I asked for rose instead, they had a half glass left and gave that to me at no charge, promising that by dinner time (2 hours late) they would have at least one bottle of white, one bottle of rose, and one bottle of red available. All in all, we would not return to this hotel. Our purpose for going was to enjoy that ocean view, which we did not get.

L'environnement autour du lodge est incroyable, une heure de piste rouge autour de paysages infinis et lunaires, puis une arrivée dans un village en bord de rivière, un sentiment du bout du monde. On apprécie le coucher du soleil orangé depuis la terrasse des villas. Le personnel est professionnel, attentif, dans un esprit familial, avec un service **** La déco du resto est un coup de cœur. Nous avons voyagé avec notre fils d'un an et demi et tout a été fait pour nous faciliter le séjour. Un grand merci à Sylvie et Didier et toute leur équipe !

Un site magnifique, un bel hôtel, un personnel hyper sympa et des activités pour ceux qui veulent découvrir cette belle région.

Très bel hôtel. Juste le problème de la piscine de l’appartement: panne de moteur pour la filtration et nous avons bataillé pour que la personne prévue vienne nettoyer!!! C’est le point noir du séjour alors que le personnel et d’une extrême gentillesse et que le lieu et l’infrastructure est de toute beauté. Dommage de payer ce prix et de ne pas avoir l’excellence

J'aimerai bien qu'on met la climatisation dans les chambres et qu'on crée plus de variétés dans le menu. Pour moi le menu sur la carte était limité.. Sinon, le service est bon, même les repas sont bon. La chambre très propre

pas d'activités (plage ne se prêtant pas à la baignade), repas moyens(réchauffés, surgelés?), c'est cher, pas d'internet pendant 2 jours cet hôtel est donc préférable pour des séminaires de professionnels plus que pour des touristes
