임페리얼(Imperial)

As far as pub rooms with shared amenities go this is great value and spotlessly clean. The staff are cheerful and very accommodating. I will definitely put on top of my list for my next stay in Maitland.

Old style comfort. Bathrooms are dormitory style. Air con was ice cold. Brilliant for the price.

The room I stayed at was well kept. Carpet and sink were abit dirty but not bothersome. The location was very convinient and easy walking distance to the shops

What a delightful hotel. A beautiful old pub but with modern facilities and good shared bathrooms. Continental breakfast was provided at a well appointed shared kitchen. The room was a very comfortable although there was some traffic noise from the street below.

Recently renovated. Photos on Wotif are out of date. Nick, who attended to me, was very friendly and helpful.

Staff were great. Access was easy. Bar offers no after hours food for patrons and guests. Room stunk like urine. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and hurt my back. Fire alarm went off at 2.30am causing evacuations twice early hours forcing guests to leave. It was unfortunate this happened but it didnt help the situation.

It was really nice and quiet. Definitely better than a pub stay had any right to be.

Accommodation is pub style above the bar and band area. Noise from below reverberates up to rooms. Probably fine on a weekday but was impossible to sleep until the band stopped on a Friday night. We booked and paid extra for a room that had a private bathroom, only to find the bathroom was just a bathroom sink. The toilets and showers were still shared with other rooms. Luckily there was only one or two other guests so it was almost like a private bathroom, but misrepresenting in the ad. Lighting on the corridors was poor and we couldn't find the light switch. Another guest found a lamp that she turned on. The ceiling lights not working is dangerous in an emergency and the lamp isn't obvious. I also managed to lock myself in the shower. The men's shower door locks but does not unlock. So I had to brute force the door open. Lucky I was not a kid or an old-timer as they would have been in trouble. That's also dangerous. However, staff were nice and accommodating. And the facilities were relatively clean. And it was cheap. And breakfast was provided ( bread, cereal, juice, tea, coffee) so no complaints there.

Extremely happy with my 12 nights stay. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. In house restaurant served fantastic food at good prices. Was a great place to have as a base for going around the region. Highly recommend 5 stars
