L'hôtel est très élégant le personnel au petit soin, le petit déjeuner exceptionnel, nous avons adoré !

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, con una vista muy bonita y con muchísimos restaurantes al lado en el puerto. Cuesta un poco llegar, eso sí, y es probable que en temporada alta sea muy difícil aparcar. El desayuno de notable. La ducha de cortesía el último día por la tarde es un detallazo para aprovechar bien el día de salida. El servicio muy atento.

La habitación me ha resultado pequeña.

We have been regular visitors to the hotel for some 9 years and again our most recent visit in May 2024 was up to the usual high standard. The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient and our special thanks go to Sara, the Guest Experience Manager, to Monica and Marguerita in the Dining Room and to Julian in the bar areas. It was also great to experience the recent development of new bars and eating places adjacent to the hotel located at the waterside. A great area to “ people watch”. We plan to return in 2025.

Hopelessly run hotel, not far off Fawlty Towers. Dangerous showers with no rubber mats to compensate.

Considering there have been so many negative comments recently I’d like to redress the balance. The room was excellent, immaculately clean , plenty of hanging space and the bed was so comfy. The food was amongst the best I’ve ever had in a holiday hotel, plenty of fresh fruit, salads and vegetables. I eat very little meat and was able to eat a vegetarian meal both at lunchtime and in the evening. There was always a freshly cooked meat or fish option too. I normally don’t eat pudding but there were some delicious ones that I just had to have and the presentation was lovely. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, if there was a problem it was soon sorted. We were alerted to the fact that building work was being carried out at the property next to the hotel but the noise was minimal and didn’t affect our stay at all. I’ll definitely be going back next year !

Stayed for a week in early May and after reading some reviews regarding the roof top and building work next door we had our initial concerns, these were both soon forgotten about almost immediately after we arrived. Yes the rooftop sundeck was open but the bar wasn't (this didn't bother us as it made it much quieter and easier to get the nice sunbeds), there was work being carried out next door but the noise was minimal and unobtrusive and didn't affect our holiday at all. Check in was slow unfortunately and took us over 2 hours to be allocated our room, we subsequently found out there was a laundry issue. The room was well presented with what we can only describe as the best mattress we've ever slept on, however there were a few small ******* that could require attention :- there are no drawers anywhere in the room, sliding doors for the wardrobe very noisy and sticky, shower so narrow you can barely turn around (the overhead shower couldn't be turned off completely and constantly dripped to a point I had to put a plastic bag over it) and having the wash basin in the main room was also strange! The restaurant food was generally good and plentiful though as said in other reviews it could have been warmer, freshly cooked food by the chef was excellent. Morning breakfast was superb and the staff worked tirelessly and was always happy. The location of the hotel is 1st class for a peaceful break, a short walk from the hotel you have excellent restaurants and just around the corner is a beautiful harbour with shops and restaurants (and ice cream shops). Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Hamilton and would certainly go back

So we have just got back today from a fabulous 4 night break . We stayed B&B as we are not fans of AI , not because of the food etc but we like to eat out in different places . The breakfast was great , lots of choice to be had and always someone available if you wanted anything. The staff all work incredibly hard . The hotel is in an amazing position overlooking the clear sea and we watched numerous cruise ships and other various boats coming and going every evening whilst eating out for dinner in the restaurants in Cala fonts .We had a superior room on the 4th floor which overlooked the pool. We was lucky to get the evening sun on our balcony . Our room was clean , tidy with everything you need . We used the local bus 02 to Mahón three times which is an excellent service & we then went to Cala en porter beach on another bus from Mahón which was so worth it for a few hours . Please don’t get put off with some of the negative reviews as you can’t please everyone. This hotel is a good choice, adults only and on a lovely island . Thank you to all the lovely staff .

It's a really excellent hotel with wonderful staff. Reception staff were really good room staff excellent dinning room staff also excellent friendly helpful and smiling. The was a good choice of food at breakfast time eggs cooked fresh along with small pancakes, sausages, bacon beans choiros no need to gone hungry there or at dinner various meats and fish freshly grilled. The only fault was that on 2 occasions I found the butter was past its use by date by 26 days then 7 days later butter with the same use by date appeared again. This was pointed out to the restraunt manager each time. I had a sea view, which I now realise was a mistake as the sun was only on my balcony til 11am there was a shortage of a plug socket near the large dressing table where the kettle was ans the lead did not reach.The swimming pool was bathed in sun most of the day with plenty of sun beds. The room was a superior room had every thing you could wish for except it was not very large. Bottled fresh water was delivered daily. Entertainment was on wednesday,fridays and Saturday's. The main problem was as I have a walking problem, it was the right hotel in the wrong location other than a short walk to a small nearby harbour with several restraunts es castell itself didn't have a lot going for it . I would do better research next time on location.
