It's said Better late than Never.So now here is the true story.It's actually a fact that wherever we gujaratis go to,we opt for Gujarati or Indian food invariably finds us. Traditionally we are known to stick to Indian food so Fountain hotel is our first choice at Mahabaleshwar always & their caption "Eat the Best, forget the Rest"is took over by Taj@Shashank this time.we usually try one meal at different food joints after lavish breakfast.But this time we were served superb savouries at breakfast only so we decided to enjoy multi cuisine at Taj only , whatever that gets served to us. Guess what happened next? After spending six days at Taj we were like Awe as Shashank and his culinary expertise took care of us at exotic tastebuds.Daily new cuisine was planned & prepared by him to finesse .The choice of food right from soup to deserts it's taste, aroma & presentation was all Shashank.He is truly a star on Taj crown.He took utmost care for healthy & nutritious food.I couldn't resist clicking all his platters like a beautiful painting.His treats were feast . He is truly Michelian star chef.kept best such wonderful memories we are going to leave/ live with. Shashank may you find all success,happiness & everything your heart desire. Keep up the good work and your smile.

Had the best experience. Have been to the property in its pre ihcl days as well. Not only has ihcl retained the vibe but has also elevated the experience to that of a true uhcl property. Our check in and hospitality with shruti and avishk and the team. Ganesh who helped us tour the property and was available a call away. And the multiple experiences from stargazing to badminton and beekeeping was a notch above. The food, a mix of north indian, gujarati continental and local cuisine was so above par its tough to put into words. The staff both inside and outside the kitchen was always up for review. The hospitality was great . The Premium valley view room is a heritage stay. The staff and chef were kind and helpful. The food the ambience was excellent. Pet friendly place. The whole vibe was refreshing and the climate made worth the stay.

Amazing experience, nestled in the lap of nature in a beautiful property! We stayed 2 nights in the resort… all our requests (and more) were catered, to make my family have a personalised touch. Right from the front office staff, Ashiq and Manisha with their warm and hospitable behaviour to their colleagues in F&B, Chef Shashank, Manager Mahendra, Rohan, Akhay, Rutik and Tanulima - all of them went out of their way to make our anniversary celebration memorable. BIG thanks to all of them esp. Mahendra and Akhay for catering to all our culinary requirements. Overall a memorable experience and we can’t wait to revisit soon!

Fantastic locations, beautiful sunset. Just need heated swimmingpool. Food is Fantastic. Amazing rooms. Kids friendly. Hotel is newly renovated. Rooms are clean and hygienic. Pet friendly hotel. Also has game room for kids. Its heritage property.

We had a very nice experience at Taj IHCL Mahabaleshwar. The staff is very polite and ever smiling. Food is delicious and perfect. Would recommend this hotel. The view from rooms is nice. It’s s nice property with swimming pool and play area. It has a huge outdoor play area and indoor play area.
