알링햄 암 호텔(Allingham Arms Hotel)

We stayed for a long weekend in April. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, staff are very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Rooms are spotlessly clean, very comfy beds. I requested a room in advance with a walk in shower due to mobility issues which I was allocated on arrival. The food in the restaurant was outstanding as were the staff. I would highly recommend staying at the Allingham Arms hotel. We are looking forward to going back in the near future.

This is a brilliant hotel, such a warm feeling from you step in through the door. All the staff are lovely (how did you find so many hard working pleasant young students? ), the food is amazing, hotel is clean, rooms a good size and beds comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Went for something to eat with family as my parents go every year and say the food is amazing. Got into reception to see if there was any availability and my young son noticed a human faeces trail on the floor asking what it was. Had to report it to the staff at reception so they could clean it, to be honest I should have walked out then. Got our starters and there was hardly any fish in the chowder which I was told in previous years its normally great. Mains were ok nothing special, same with desserts. Never felt right when I got home and got woken up to my son with vomit and diarrhoea at 6am this morning not sure if it’s connected but €200 wasted and won’t be back.

Stayed here for 4 nights, beautiful theme twin room. Beds are super comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with a nice selection. We also had evening food which was very tasty. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Hotel is in a great location. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back again someday hopefully.

I hadn't been to the Arlingham for a few years we booked last minute for a small get away we found the staff very friendly, our room was lovely very clean comfortable, modern everything you need, we would love a room to the front but it costing another 30 euro we decided to leave it we had dinner in the restaurant and couldn't fault it also breakfast was very nice , good quality all in all a lovely short stay and I would definitely recommend

The Allingham Arms Hotel was value for money and enjoyable. Breakfast excellent. Recommended for stop overs while touring Ireland. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Great positioning on seafront lovely sea walks

I've stayed here many times and always found it fine for my needs - there's never been anything particularly good enough or bad enough to merit doing a review. But I had a few minor health issues going on this time and a man who I assume is the manager (grey suit, glasses) was so helpful and kind on a couple of occasions. He managed to sort out what I needed very quietly and without any drama which I really appreciated - it's the sort of hospitality and care that's so rare in the service industries these days. He really is an absolute gem and I hope his employers appreciate the positivity and goodwill he manages to leave with the customers.

Comfortable room and facilities within it. Chose to pay for an upgraded sea view room. Shower was great, spacious with rainfall shower. Bed was very comfortable and big. Room was plenty big. The only downside was only tea cups not mugs in the room. Could have also done with bottles of water in the room. Food was good for dinner and breakfast. Staff all friendly and helpful. We stayed over for music on our stay. Disappointing that it’s very hard to see the band from half the dance hall due to posts in the way as well as not being “allowed” to sit on the pathetic piece of what the “bouncer” called a dance floor at the back of the hall. There was a larger dance floor in front of the stage. What a waste of space at the back part of the hall for people wanting to “watch” a band. Perhaps the Allingham need to invest in updating that particular part of the hotel since it’s not changed from the 25 + years I had been going to see bands at previously.

10 out 10 the music was good in Saturday and Sunday night the staff were very friendly would ask do you want another drink and the staff had good manners and look after their customer well...would go back to listen to the country music very soon
