호스탈 카라세도(Hostal Carracedo)

Great for the price! Visiting in January, we had a very warm room, which was particularly appreciated. Good location with loads of cafes and bars around, easy access to metro. Can't comment on noise as I don't think it was that busy at the time - we just heard people opening their rooms from the front door. Overall 👍

I stayed here for 2 nights for business. Pluses: 1. Excellent location in Las Letras, walkable to everything 2. Brand new (in a historical building, however), and very comfy beds 3. Lots of outlets 4. Fast, free wifi 5. Very friendly desk staff 6. Excellent price point for its location 7. Clean & secure Minuses: 1. The only exterior windows are the windows facing the internal courtyard, which is now an entryway. When someone comes into the entryway, it turns on an automatic light, flooding your dark room. We had both 3am arrivals and 5am departures, so it was disruptive. overall, recommend for a budget short stay in Madrid.

This hostel is ideally placed, everything we wanted to see is an easy walking distance. We were heartily welcomed and our room is excellent. Rooms are on floor. Three reception is on floor two. Many thanks to the proprietors. We have had a very good stay here.

Excellent value and offering at this price point. Reception and cleaning staff are friendly and helpful. Private washroom and double bed. Safe, friendly, extremely clean, updated and comfortable. Security is taken seriously with key access on the street and floor levels. On a street with a variety of restaurants and retail stores, very close to the metro station and walkable to many attractions and iconic squares. 20 minutes walk from the train station or you can take the metro line two stops as it it is uphill to the hotel. A grocery store on the street is available for incidentals. An excellent rating and value overall.

The experience was amazing, its a confortable hostal with everything you will need, there is just no minibar, but with the amazing location, you wont need it, there are several bars and restaurants around, some mini markets too, everything in a 1 minute distance. The staff is friendly and professional. Its definitely better to stay in hostal carracedo than some 3+ stars hotels poorly located. The vibe and ambience of this hostel is amazing and the price affordable. Totally recommend.

Hola a todos, contarles mi experiencia Recepción en 2do piso, nadie te recibe, bulla no se puede dormir por los bares alrededor, pagas por guardar las maletas, no me quisieron prestar el baño al recoger mis maletas, no se si para los españoles es normal que no te presten el baño para una necesidad fisiológica pero a mi me pareció fatal, porque habiendo sido clientes deberían ser amables.....
