바르비에리 솔 호스텔(Barbieri Sol Hostel)

We were in a room of 4 with a nice and clean ensuite shower and toilet. Very helpful and friendly staff who are available from 8am to midnight. Nice and relaxed atmosphere in a central location. Because of this it can be a bit noisy when you're trying to sleep.

We keep coming back when in Madrid. The hostel is right in the middle of the city with a big terrace overlooking old town Madrid, priceless. The rooms are good and everyone from the team is always making sure we are enjoying our stay by giving us great recommendations on restaurants, bars, shows, gyms, places to visit, etc. Management is always on the premises so one gets a sense of one-on-one service. We have had great times while visiting Madrid and staying at Barbieri Sol Hostel, so we highly recommend it.

I had no cause to complain. Everything was fine. It's centrally located, which is convenient. It has nice views. There are a lounge and terrace available for all guests to use. The windows in the rooms were made from a very strong glass material, meaning no sound from outside was audible inside. This was especially useful when going to sleep whilst the Spanish nightlife persisted outside.

This cute, no-frills hostel is right by the Plaza del Sol and is a comfortable stay, but is also reasonably priced and has friendly staff. Plaza del Sol can be very loud (especially at night), but the noise didn't reach our room. Not all hostels are as clean or cozy as this place! Everyone is super nice and laidback, and there's a nice terrace to sit and enjoy Madrid if you want a quiet moment in the hectic buzz of Madrid. Hostels are great places to meet people, and this hotel was no exception.

Great little Hostel! It is simple and basic on almost every level, but still an extremely good deal for the location. Lovely terrace with lawn-chairs and coffee tables. the management are the best, real easy going and friendly, they make you feel at home from the start! I was originally staying for the weekend but ended up extending my stay because this place is just great. First few days were in a 6 bed room - I met many cool travelers and had great conversations. On saturday I brought some friends up to hang out and drink on the terrace for a couple hours. then after my booking was up I rebooked one of the private rooms, whenever I needed anything the guy running the front desk would help me out, I felt quite pampered. at one point I ran out of my room saying "my laptop battery is dying and I just realized I don't have a plug adapter, it's almost midnight, he lent the the charger to his laptop/tablet!

Oggi mi hanno cancellato una prenotazione fatta mesi prima e me l'hanno proposta al doppio del prezzo. Inaffidabili,non fidatevi. Assistenza e attenzione al cliente pari a zero. Purtroppo non posso mettere meno di una stella. Se volete visitare Madrid non prenotate questo ostello

Calidad y precio normal, lo positivo que esta en el centro de la ciudad, las instalaciones podrian mejorar, la cocina sobre todo, le falta cuidado. la habitacion que nos ha tocado esta bien, daba a la calle vitoria super ruidosa, cambiar los cristales aislantes seria una opcion, nos costo dormir esa noche =) el personal muy amable y atentos.
