We loved everything about this place. The decor, the rooms, the added touches everywhere! The beds were super comfortable, great breakfast options and the staff and owners were super nice. We were with 3 other couples and the outdoor area/fire tables was a great place to catch up with old friends after a wedding in the area. Hoping to have an opportunity to come again! Best B&B we ever stayed at.

Stopped here on our way up to Maine and so happy we did! We read all the excellent reviews and they are all true. You just can’t say enough nice things about The Homestead and our hosts Ralph and Ellen. The house is just perfect in every way. The rooms are super clean and have so many amenities: towel warmer, luxury shower head, lighted makeup mirror, record player, fridge and more. You will wake to a wonderful breakfast with all types of coffee and special breakfast items. If you are traveling in the Coastal Connecticut area this is a sweet and special place. We loved it and rate it A++

The Homestead Inn is a lovely place to spend a couple of nights. It’s very clean and well-maintained. They offer all kinds of snacks and drinks that you can grab it anytime. And best of all play old rat pack music the entire time on the owners collection of vinyl.

We had the most fantastic stay at the Homestead. Probably the best Bed & Breakfast we have experienced. From perfect accommodations, excellent bedding, convenient location, clean quiet rooms, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Coffee made to order? No problem. Nothing is spared, the host demonstrates an extreme attention to detail. We were pleased to find a towel warmer so getting out of the shower became a treat in chilly December. Clearly a very well managed place and totally unpretentious. You just feel at home (but even better!). Our room was very dog friendly, with it's own entrance and patio. The living and dining rooms were comfortable gathering places for us to chat with other guests. The Homestead could be the destination by itself.

This bed & breakfast is exceptional! We’ve already started telling our friends and family they must stay here when near Madison, CT. The owner greeted us, gave us a tour and we quickly discovered what a special stay this was going to be! Every room is filled with stories and treasures. Our daughters have already requested to come back. Kudos to Ralph and his team for such a memorable stay!!

The Homestead is peaceful, beautiful, comfortable, and clean. We loved the all-day coffee/tea station and the amazing cookies and snacks that were available throughout the day. Breakfast was delicious as well. This was our 3rd time staying at the Homestead and, as always, the room was spotless. This inn truly feels like home. Love it!
