호텔 드 누아일(Hotel de Noailles)

Good position - friendly staff but tiny room and poor open plan bathroom. Small toilet had double doors with vicious springs making entry and exit to the tiny area very unpleasant. I would stay again for the position but not for any other reason

All was great, the reception, room , location . The staff were very helpful, offering me a room on ground level as requested, assisting me in answering questions about the city and transport. Air con helped a lot and room was very quiet.

Excited by the online info, so booked it. Turned on the sink and rusty water came out. It took minutes to clear. Walls and floor in loo room needed better cleaning. Went to breakfast at 9 and there was a bare spoonful of eggs, which my husband and I split. No salt and pepper on tables, No pepper when asked. Used google Translate to talk to concierge.

A nice hotel but a bit rough neighbourhood, I didn’t feel safe. Tramline runs next to it.

Our rooms were dirty and full of dust The hotel is central but in a bad place The staff was friendly and helpfull but not professional... when we arrived there we asked to change our rooms and to give as a clean place :'(

I had filtered the options so that I could guarantee parking, as I was travelling to southern italy and had valuable stuff in the car. The hotel claimed that they had no parking available and I had to go and park in an underground car park. The exit was in another part of the town and the hotel could not guide me back whilst carrying my bags. It took me 45 minutes to eventually find my own way back. Not recommended!

Staff were very lovely and helpful. As a solo traveler I wasn’t comfortable in the area, also not very central to sightsee in Lyon. The hotel is very old with no elevator. Simple 2 star hotel, does the job if you just need somewhere to sleep.

The bed was good although not much space around it. Toilet and shower spaces are too small, the sink is too big and blocks 60% of the entrance to the shower so you have to walk sideway to get in and out of the shower. And the shower is about a foot higher than the floor so it's more like sideway jump than walk.

La chambre (suite familiale) est située à l'entresol du bâtiment avec une seule fenêtre aveugle (la chambre possède deux pièces), à côté des locaux techniques ! Ce n'est pas l'idée qu'on se fait d'une chambre à ce tarif dans un hôtel 3 étoiles. L'établissement semble avoir été rénové récemment donc l'ensemble est correct mais la propreté n'est pas parfaite. Nous avons constaté après une arrivée tardive, qu'une partie de la suite était infestée par des fourmis ( au sol, sur un canapé, sous un lit...), étant alors déjà installés et fatigués, nous n'avons pas demandé à changer de chambre. Nous l'avons toutefois signalé à la réception le lendemain matin. Des excuses nous ont été présentées mais aucun geste commercial proposé. La présence de ces fourmis est sans doute due à la localisation de la chambre en sous-sol et à un manque de vigilance dans l'inspection des chambres, nous avons par ailleurs trouvé des cheveux derrière la porte des toilettes. Bref hôtel aux tarifs surévalués que nous ne recommandons absolument pas ! A ajouter une offre de parking à prix prohibitif (25€ la nuit) que nous avons déclinée !
