Dorset House

The room was beautiful - we especially loved the sea views from every window- the bed was comfortable , shower was great, but most of all the breakfast was amazing. Breakfast was already my favourite meal, but now I feel that starting the day with a breakfast like that should be a human right!

Second visit …every bit as good as first time We really like the building , the decor , our bedroom with triple aspect view over the coast , the spacious bathroom with fantastic shower , the very comfortable bed and soft pillows And a breakfast to die for And the atmosphere created by Jason and Lyn is so relaxing ,

Our third stay at Dorset House and as excellent as ever. Comfortable room with super quality bed linen, powerful and spacious shower and Land and Water toiletries. Super breakfasts whether we had the Full English, or the pancakes with maple syrup and bacon or simply the home made granola with fruit salad and yoghurt. The local and careful sourcing of all the ingredients shines through. We will be back for a fourth time, I am sure

A warm and friendly welcome, stylish interior, and a lovely, well appointed room are first impressions. We also enjoyed the excellent breakfast on the beautiful veranda. This was great place to come for a romantic getaway, we throughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

We had a great stay at Dorest House. The room was nicely presented, the bathroom was clean and modern and the bed was very comfy. The location was also good for exploring Lyme Regis and was close to free parking down a side street. The hosts at Dorset House were very hospitality, friendly and helpful. We also had some very nice pizza at their restaurant Poco Pizza, it has nice views and overlooks the bay so is worth a visit. Their restaurant is quite popular though so it's worth booking in advance if you want to go. However, our favourite part was the amazing breakfasts they offered, my wife said the eggs benedict were some of the best she'd ever had. We would definitely recommend Dorest House to anyone looking to stay around Lyme Regis. D&M

A lovely weekend stay in Lyme Regis. Dorset House is a gorgeous period building with beautiful decor, comfortable accommodation, and fantastic breakfasts with delicious, locally sourced, home made produce and a very warm welcome. Thank you Lyn and Jas.

Our favourite place to stay whenever we're in Lyme Regis. Our June visit was up to the usual very high standard. The Lighthouse Suite was spacious, the bed extremely comfortable, with a great view over the bay. The breakfasts, as always, were excellent - all fresh, mainly local, ingredients. Lyn & Jason's customer service & attention to detail is outstanding - nothing is too much trouble. We even managed to persuade Jason (who is a licensed LTA coach) to give us some tennis lessons!

Perfect! Especially having to walk up and down steep hill after 5star breakfast. Jason is so laid back we thought he might fall over! Their Pizza Restaurant also delicious and incredibly friendly cheerful young staff. The bus stops outside their door. Lyme Regis in the sunshine is gorgeous DH a must

Simply wonderful! The attention to detail and care that Lyn and Jason gave to us during our three day stay was special. The breakfast choice and quality of individual ingredients was exceptional. Together, they combined to create memorable tastes. We explored the menu and every choice was perfectly cooked from eggs Benedict, traditional English to miso mushrooms. Our super king bed was like home and walk in shower was perfect and immaculate.
