The 1980s-era red-brick house,like a whisper of history, echoes softly in every corner, carrying the warmth of the past and the weight of memories, quietly narrating its own story. Within this nostalgic and retro sentiment, we decided to transform this witness of time into a boutique hotel filled with storytelling charm, aiming to let every guest discover their own chapter of time here. The soul of the design lies in our reverence for and use of raw materials. We meticulously selected elements such as rough stone, raw wood, rattan weaving, and linen—materials that are primal, rustic, yet inherently warm. Each one bears the imprints of nature and the traces of time. Here, the interplay of light and shadow, the flow of space, and the tactile quality of textures weave together into a journey back to nature. The design pursues not only visual aesthetics but also an intertwining of touch and emotion, allowing visitors to feel warmth and stories in every inch of the space. Located in Luoyang, an ancient capital where every brick and tile exudes the aura of antiquity, "Yinju Luoyi" (Secluded Luoyang) seeks a tranquil retreat nestled within the city’s hustle and bustle—a place to escape urban clamor and find serenity. Our philosophy goes beyond creating mere accommodation; we hope every guest will discover a sanctuary for the soul here, temporarily setting aside life’s chaos and pressures to savor a moment of quiet belonging.
