Zweckmäßiges, renovierungsbedürftiges, lieblos eingerichtetes Hotel. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt okay. Lage ist sehr gut und ruhig. Die wesentlichen Stellen sind sauber (z. B. Bad, Böden etc.), allerdings immer wieder schmutzige Stellen die so nicht akzeptabel sind (ältere Spinnweben an den Wänden/Decken, dreckige Wandfliesen im Bad, tote Fliegen und Käfer im Rahmen der Balkontüre, Haare und Dreck auf der Fußmatte, Zigarettenfilter im Balkonabfluss...). Außerdem war auf der Toilette im öffentlichen Bereich kein Toilettenpapier und ebenfalls viele Spinnweben mitsamt Spinnen drin. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist in Ordnung aber nichts besonderes, die Brötchen waren lecker. Leider gibt es nichts frisches (Obst, Gurke, Tomate, Paprika etc.). Der Frühstücksraum erinnert an eine Kantine. Es ist sehr laut und zu eng gestuhlt. Die Mitarbeiter tragen Jogginghosen, dies ist ein No-Go. Wenn man keine großen Ansprüche hat kann man das Hotel guten Gewissens buchen, ansonsten sollte man sich ein anderes Hotel suchen.

Hotel location is perfect, however the breakfast items were very poor, they don’t consider other nationalities coming in the hotel and they have different tastes of good, also the receptionist is not available after 6pm which is very weird

This hotel was a gem. It was quiet, comfortable, and convenient. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room had a view of the Reichenbach Falls, which were lit up at night. The bed was a little hard for me but right for my wife…matter of preference. The breakfast was free and quite filling—boiled eggs, assorted breads, jams, cold cuts, cheese, juices, and coffees. It was about 6 minute walk to the train station and a multitude of restaurants. If we come back to Meiringen, this is where we are staying!

- positive: friendly staff, clean, nicely located, good breakfast - negative: curtains didn't cover the whole window so not possible to keep daylight out, too expensive for what it was, rooms are pretty old, room had connecting door to another room, so you could hear everything from that other room, noise from floor outside practically not blocked by room door because it is very old and not soundproof at all. Many noisy co-tourist.

Quite spacious room and was very clean (they cleaned on daily basis). Room had an excellent view of the famous waterfalls. Walkable to the all 3 tourist attractions. The friendly reception tops it all. Only the breakfast could be improved- but I found that lacking in all the Swiss hotels during this visit ;)

They removed dishes at 9.00 pm without announcing that we are removing them and anybody can take replenishment before it On complaint to staff he very rusely told nobody give respect to Indians here only we care for you but you don't care for us His behavior was bad towards Indians

Hotel was clean, but worn. We had an amazing view of the mountains and the waterfall. Front desk was friendly

Proprietor was very helpful and kind
