B&B 아레나 디 루카

We had a wonderful stay in Lucca! Monica was super kind and welcoming. The room was excellent, with a beautiful view of the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro. Comfortable bed, very good shower, and air conditioning that made the stay even better. The location couldn’t be more perfect. Tip for future guests: park your car at Parcheggio Mazzini (near Porta Santa Maria). Grazie Monica! 🌟

Location was great. Quaint rooms with much character. The manager is a great communicator (she may also be the owner) who takes great pride in this property.

The room, bathroom, bedding all very clean and the bedroom was quite large. The welcome we received was very good and a good explanation of how the amenities work. Breakfast was just around the corner in a little cafe (all was very good). There are steps leading upto the room. Aircon a little noisy. The location of the appartment was excellent. Overall very pleased and would definitely go back.

Accommodation good and lovely location. However we opted for breakfast which we knew was in a cafe down the road. When we arrived all tables were taken (only 6 or 7 tables for 2) it was pouring with rain and we had to sit under umbrella outside. THe only choice of breakfast was filled rolls or croissants.No fruit or yoghurt or cereal available. I chose a filled roll a croissant coffee and orange juice and when leaving was asked to pay an extra 2 euros as I had exceeded my 10 euro allowance. I have never been anywhere that had so little choice and then asked to pay extra. We spoke to our host who arranged for a table inside to be made-available for the rest of our stay but said prices had gone up and that was that.

B&B host was lovely, incredibly pleasant and helpful. Location is perfect for lucca, balcony opening up to main piazza was amazing. And sound proof doors for sleep, very silent. We loved our stay.

A most hospitable stay at this B&B with a scrumptious breakfast provided at the local bakery/ cafe around the corner. Fresh orange juice with freshly baked produce. I had a room with a view of the Arena which is filled with fibrant restaurants, bars and cafes. Ensuite bathroom was quirky and made me fall in love with the room. The hosts don’t speak English but they were so welcoming and kind. This is one to come back to!

What a beautiful place (Lucca) and what a great, unusual and wonderful b&b . Our host (Monica) was brilliant- friendly, informative and welcoming. The property is unique and it felt special to be able to stay there especially looking out across the square. Breakfast is served at a cafe around the corner and the service here was excellent. The b&b is located in the old amphitheater there are a plethora of bars , restaurants and shops to suit all tastes. We will be back and we will only look to book this great place.

Fantastic accommodation and fabulous location.

B&B is well located, built on remains of Roman amphitheater and you can see that in the building. Room was small and hot water was only lukewarm in the small shower. Staff was very friendly and cleaned up our room every day including new towels. Don’t go to Lucca in October - every open space and square is taken over by tents and temporary buildings for a comic and game event at the end of the month. Ruins all the views.
