Very welcoming and friendly hotel .Fantastic breakfast and really convenient for restaurants, bars and shops. Super clean and comfortable beds. We stayed for 6 nights and couldn't fault this place for good value . The hotel is family run and it is obvious that high standards are met at all times .

We arrived by train and easily walked (25 minutes) to this fine hotel with its professional and friendly staff. The hotel has a wonderful old world charm and fine attention to customer service in the midst of a warm ambience with delicate touches. It is conveniently located to dining, visiting the sites and shopping.T here is a delightful full breakfast. Each room is named after a flower in a quiet location. I recommend this hotel heartedly and would stay here if we return to Lucca. (Great recommendation for dinner locally.)

We very much enjoyed our stay. A perfect location within the walls of Lucca, convenient for both dining and shopping. The rooms were clean and our room was done uniquely in hand painted murals. The thing that stands out to me most during our stay was the friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel is located in a central part of Lucca. Rooms are all different and very nice…. Staff are the Friendly People, breakfast is very good. Rooms are clean and very quiet… I am a return Guest, and will be returning in the near future.. Thank you all at Maison de Charme

We have been travelling in Italy for two weeks with a group and this by far has been the best accommodation. In the lovely old town of Lucca this hotel is down a side alley and is an updated, well appointed boutique old villa which is extremely comfortable, clean and has very friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast is excellent and easily the best experienced so far in the many boutique hotels we have stayed in. The recommendation for lunch was perfect (Canuleia) boasting a menu that surpassed the many tourist eating places.

Wow wow wow! We had such a wonderful experience here from start to finish! Lucca is a beautiful place and this hotel is in the heart of it. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have all the amenities you would expect. We had a great night’s sleep and dinner at a local restaurant recommended by the hotel. Breakfast was truly incredible - none of us have had a spread quite like it. All fresh and so tasty - it really set us up for the day. Finally the cherry on the cake - our friend spotted a tea cup at breakfast that matched her nonna’s tea set and she was missing one cup. We asked about it and the team asked the owner who said she could have it (no charge) and even wrapped it up for her. I believe this shows perfectly what a wonderful hotel this is.

A charming hotel clean and modern with well fitted bathroom, located within the walled city walking distance to all the sights. Friendly helpful staff. Hotel will arrange private parking in a secure location directly opposite at reasonable rate of 18 euros ( elsewhere you could be charged 30 or 40 euros to park within the restricted area. Parking will allow you to drive directly to the front door to unload and check in. I would highly recommend this hotel for service and location, if you accept limited facilities within the hotel, i.e. no bar restaurant or lounge area.

While I wouldn't wish my spare time in the room, it was clean and comfortable - I had trouble with controlling the lighting in the room - one switch turned everything off ( not unusual) but nothing would turn off the bathroom light which was a bit frustrating. And while I was happy to have an in-room safe - it was far too small - it couldn't even hold an iPad let alone a LapTop. However the staff were friendly and the breakfast delicious. I'd happily go back for another stay.

My favorite hotel in Europe! If I had the budget, I would move to Lucca and live in this hotel full-time. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, the food at breakfast is amazing and the restaurant is excellent. Everything about it is fantastic :)
