루카 인 빌라 엘리사 & 젠투카(Lucca In Villa Elisa & Gentucca)

A VERY COZY CON CONFY B&B, THE BED AWESOME, THE HOST AWESOME, VERY CLOSE TO THE CITY WALL.

Communication on CheckIn did not work, had to call someone, announced eMail message was not pressent. Room is nice, a little bit small but very high, water boiler, tea and coffee present, bed is good and comfortable, but in general room starts to need renovation. Breakfast is OK for Italian Standard and staff was really friendly. I also was allowed to leave the car a little bit longer, what is much appreciated.

DO NOT BOOK THIS APARTMENT, IT WAS DIRTY, SMELT APPALLING, THE BEDROOM WAS DAMP. IT WAS PROVIDED WITH LESS THAN MINIMUM CONSUMABLES. WASHING MACHINE LEAKED TWICE, HENCE SMELL. HOUSE KEEPER VERY INDIFFERENT ASND NOT VERY HELPFUL!! THE SO CALLED LUXURY TERRACE HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED FOR MONTHS , CONSEQUENTIALLY WE WERE BITTEN ALIVE BY MIDGES. ACCESS WAS A NIGHTMARE. ALL THIS FOR THE EXAGGERATED COST OF £1275 FO 6 NIGHTS. THE SO CALLED HOUSE KEEPER SEEMED TO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE APARTMENT. AS TO THE KITCHEN WINDOW ARRANGEMENT IT WAS QUITE SIMPLY RIDICULOUS.

Best place we’ve stayed in Italy. This B&B is a must go to, and I’m sure we will come back when we next come to Lucca. We came as a family of 3 with a baby/toddler and they allowed us early check in to help with our child’s sleep routine. I’m arrival reception Gad cold drinks, coffee/tea and snacks, did not expect it but was so thoughtful and very much appreciated. The room was spacious, cot was provided in great condition, air con was cool and the bed super comfy. The location was perfect, just outside the walls of Lucca which gave us a nice cool breeze the city didn’t allow, and also super close to Lidl for grocery needs. The buffet breakfast was to die for! So many fresh yummy foods that helped our little one get a good feed as she can be picky first thing, most places with breakfast provided we’ve needed to bring things for her to eat, this has everything and sooo yummy from pastries to pancakes, cold meets, cheeses, fresh fruit, bread, toast, yoghurt and an array of cereals, as well as tea, coffee and juice! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, allowing us a slightly later check out also as we lost track of time in Lucca the day of departure. Couldn’t speak or suggest more highly, thank you thank you thank you!

not in room 1 as it is by the door everyone uses and it is noisy – the lock clicks loudly, the door shuts heavily, and people chat. Other than that everything was great. The location is especially good, so you can walk into Lucca to do some sightseeing and if you fancy a rest, you can head back before going out again. Very good room, bed and bathroom. Breakfast is an excellent help yourself buffet with excellent coffee. The two people preparing breakfast are very friendly and helpful. The reception isn't obvious, at the back of one of the buildings – there's a small green sign by a green hedge.

Large room with airconditioning, large bathroom with shower, but nowhere to put things in the shower. All a bit spartan, but clean. Bed was comfortabel. Breakfast was very good, lots of food to choose from, also possible to have breakfast in the garden. Location is perfect, just outside the city walls.

This was the most beautiful place. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The breakfast was amazing. The staff were amazing. The location was amazing. I cannot say enough about our stay here.
