The bed was very comfortable, loved it. The soap, shampoos & lotions were all great quality. The AC/heater unit was extremely loud, the noise kept waking me up, not good when you are trying to sleep after a long flight. Vacuuming and wiping down needed more attention. Overall it was a good stay. I'll stay at Staybridge again if ever in town.

Very close to Texas Tech, easy in and out of parking. Beds comfortable, rooms clean, only problem during our visit was elevator not working when we arrived but repaired shortly. Breakfast had good variety of options

We loved how convenient it was to the area we wanted to visit. Nice staff and breakfast.

Booked the room a few days early and still was not able to check in at their check-in time. Rooms were not ready so we had to sit in the lobby for an extra 30- 40 minutes. Restrooms could use a little updating, other than that this place is not so bad. Free breakfast was a positive, good selection of food to choose from.

We were there three days and didn’t see housekeeping once. We had to get fresh towels from the front desk. We had to have the front desk empty the trash and the air conditioner leaked in the room, soaking the floor, we told them on the first day and it was never taken care of. The tub barely drained and stopped draining on the last day so I had to take out all the hair in the drain myself. It looked like it hadn’t been emptied in years. Horrible stay. They refunded us $30 per night, only.

Horrible experience! I booked this hotel a month in advance. When i arrived was told the hotel was overbooked and they moved me to Embassy Suites. I wanted to stay at Staybridge as it was very near the university. I called twice to say I was going to check in late in evening but still did not have a room for me.

Stay somewhere else. The hotel is close to the United Arena and Texas Tech, but upon arriving at 3:00 we were told our rooms were not ready to come back in 30 mins. We left and came back 30 mins later to still receive the same message. They didn't have the King rooms ready (I had 2 rooms reserved), but could put us into a Queen. We took that option because we had plans to be somewhere. We were not offered any discount to downgrade our rooms. Then it took the man over 30 mins to check us in! He was alone and was trying his best to multitask, but he talked a lot which made the check in way to long. He also stated he would have to call 11 people and tell them they were over booked and they wouldn't have a room that they reserved. This was a concert night!!! How do you do that to people?! Our room's AC also didn't work like it should. It would be cold then hot, the water pressure was awful. I will never stay at this property again!

First off, the staff were great. But the room… smelled like pee and there were small ants…. On the sinks, the toilet seat, the bedside table… luckily they were not in the bed. At least from what I could see they weren’t. We couldn’t even unpack our stuff to set out on the vanity cause of fear of ants being all over our stuff!

Pro: The front desk person was very nice, but that’s the only part of my experience here that was good. Cons: Non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Flores were filthy - bottom of fresh socks were black after just walking from the bed to the couch. The bathtub wasn’t clean at all… it had a decent amount of hair in it. The toilet wouldn’t fill the tank with enough water to flush properly. The TV in the living room area didn’t work (cable box was missing the power cord and it had no remote). The breakfast made 2 of our family members sick.
