벨몬드 라 레지던스 푸오 바오(La Résidence Phou Vao, A Belmond Hotel, Luang Prabang)

Our stay was amazing. Rooms were ok. But the pool area, restaurant, bar were stunning! Views from the pool and the boutique a**osphere were outstanding! Shaw, in the restaurant, always knew our names...got us anything we needed. Food in the restaurant was OUTSTANDING.

Our stay was wonderful and one could not ask for a better time! The staff ere kind, attentive and very friendly. No question was an issue and staff were always making great suggestions. The ambience was terrific and we were made to feel at home as well as special. The food was a treat! We highly recommend La Residence and hope to return!

This was amongst the best accommodation we have ever stayed at. The furnishings are elegant and very comfortable; the pool area beautiful; the restaurant offered the most amazing ala carte breakfast. It helped that we went during the quiet season, and essentially shared the hotel with only two other parties. The best element, however, was the wonderful warmth of all the staff we encountered. Laotians in general appeared to us to be universally gentle and lovely; staff at La Residence Phou Vao (including a few non-Laotians) were especially so. We loved our time there.

What a wonderful haven this hotel was for us! Charming quiet room down past the spa area - loved the mosquito netting on the beds and outdoor sofa lounge area. We also loved the warm beautiful dark wood used in the room. And in the dining area of the hotel. The scale of the hotel is nice. Not too large. You feel so welcomed when you arrive and each day. Very helpful team will assist with waterfall tours, Mekong river evening boat trips and any taxis and rides. Breakfast was just wonderful. With super strong great coffee and a mix of cultures in all the food. Don’t miss the special coconut pancakes made to order with the special mold. All special and ideal. We would stay here again happily.

I stayed at La Residence Phou Vao hotel for 4 nights recently and this hotel is delightful and deserving of a 5+ star rating. The property is beautiful, the food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is outstanding, the rooms and pool lovely, and the service is truly exceptional. The staff are so kind and friendly and they think of your every need during the stay - from ice water as soon as you arrive at the pool, to reconfirming dinner reservations off-property without asking, to leaving thoughtful treats in the room every evening; the staff are always 10 steps ahead of what you might want and need. I also used the spa services and no exception here - spa rooms are beautiful, services excellent and good value. I stayed at another 5-star property in the center of town for the first two days of my trip and it does not even come close in comparison to this hotel. If you are debating between hotel options in Luang Prabang, as I did before my trip, I would highly recommend staying here. I also realized once we arrived at the property that it’s in a great location - sits on top of a hill so you get the view and breeze but only 5 mins away from all the sights and center of town. The hotel will run you back and forth in a van or golf cart whenever you need. It’s very easy and you get best of everything.

I have been coming back to this hotel for years, and I think it is the best value luxury hotel in the city. You really have to come and see if yourself how gorgeous it is to sit by the beautiful pool with its hand-glazed tiles and look out over the mountains and see the temple lit up in the distance. It is just exquisite.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we enjoyed this superb hotel; the rooms we large and very well serviced. The staff were just beyond amazing and could not do enough for us, as soon as we arrived they knew our name and had our key ready for us. In particular No, Chantee and PhoneVilai were outstanding and went beyond to make our stay extra special. Superb hotel, amazing staff, will certainly visit again. Our home away from home!

An outstanding, tranquil, tastefully decorated small hotel with an excellent staff, excellent food, and beautiful view. Everyone is very attentive and helpful. This was a wonderful, very relaxing end to our tour and I highly recommend it as a place to stay.
