Stay overall was great. LOCATION: Great location - easy & short walk to Porte Saint-Joseph. I found that crossing over to Av. Mgr. Schoepfer from Rue Sainte-Marie is a shorter walk to Porte Saint-Joseph than going down Rue Sainte-Marie. You can cross over via a short staircase across Limburgse Winkel and by the Little Cafe Bar Restaurant. OR on Rue Sainte-Marie right after the Little Cafe Bar Restaurant, there is a side street in between two souvenir stores (across from the New Orleans Cafe -great food & service). THE BEDROOM: The room was spacious with several outlets and counter space. The mattress, pillows & bedding were comfortable. The room had a mini-fridge which was unplugged. I plugged it in but do not know if it chilled since I never used it. Would have liked access to an ice machine. THE VIEW: My room faced Rue Sainte-Marie which had a nice view Rue Sainte-Marie & Av. Mgr. Schoepfer. I could also see the Crucifixion of the Way of the Cross High Stations from the window, which can be opened, as well at the entrance to Porte Saint-Joseph. THE BATHROOM: Spacious, nice lighting, the showerhead, water pressure & water temperatures were great! THE STAFF: Very helpful, friendly and polite staff. A special shout out to Joao.

Clean and tidy Hotel very close to the sanctuary. Even though it is a bit high up on a hill, Elevator is available to the road level, which is a big advantage to elderly travellers. Once you go down, it is a 5 minute walk to the sanctuary. Friendly staff, nice bar, and restaurant is available. There are also several restaurants outside that offer good food choices. Highly recommend and will definitely come back.

my family and I had unfortunately missed our original train to Lourdes, which led to me having to book the next available night train (meaning we’d reach a day late). in my panic, I reached out to the Hotel Sainte Rose staff via email to explain our situation and to ensure them that we’d be checking in the following day instead. special shout out to Valérie at the concierge, who was also our email correspondent - we were very warmly reassured it was no problem. upon arrival, Valerie displayed exceptional hospitality and took very good care of us (which meant alot after an arduous 24 hours). our stay at Hotel Sainte Rose was consistently good - food, location, cleanliness. the warmth displayed by the staff has definitely left a positive impression and we’ll definitely return if we ever journey back to Lourdes.

Everything was great of this hotel--the reasonable price, the rooms, the location. I have to give a special kudos to the front desk staff. They were all very nice and helpful. I recommend this hotel to anyone going to the Lourdes Blessed Mother sanctuary.

The location was excellent, a few minute walk to St. Joseph's gate entrance to the Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, which was our reason for our trip The dinner buffet was excellent! However, the breakfast buffet was ordinary and not so good. The room was small but comfortable.

I stayed at Hotel St-Rose at their Hostel Rosalina and I must say the staff was outstanding, extremely friendly and helpful. Big shoutout to Valerie who is a gem. The location is a 2 min walk from the sanctuary and cafes/restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.
