A really lovely hotel with excellent service. We stayed here for two nights in February with the hope of seeing the northern lights nearby for a 50th birthday present surprise . We booked the family room which had 3 very comfortable beds and a gorgeous sea view. We arrived slightly early for check in and we were greeted with a drink on the house which was an excellent start to our stay! Lovely service from everyone we came in contact with and they decorated the room for our arrival with the banner we had sent up. Always helpful when we asked for anything for the room. Highly recommended if you want to stay in Lossie. Lovely hotel, gorgeous beach and very pretty northern lights.

Love, love this place! They accept people without bookings as long as places are available. Came on a busy Christmas Eve and we were not disappointed. We ordered from their normal menu. Food is sumptuous! Christmas crackers were part of the table setup. Vegan options are available. Available parking nearby.

Room was dated and extremwly small, it was very disappointing compared to precious visits to the same properly by ourselves and also friends that had stayed previously. Previous experience led to a subsequent second booking which was not worth the money paid.

Even a score of 1 is too much. Customer service, substandard. Waitress and Manager need training on how to deal with dissatisfied customers. Their method is just walk away. Food, inedible. Drowned in sauce. Had Sea Bass. Still searching in the Moray Firth for the rest of it. Pitiful portion size. I asked for Mussels as a main (serve it as a starter but the Menu did not state it couldn't be served as a main and the waitress said it was possible.). So they arrived. Starter size as well as cold. The Manager was getting very defensive when challenged. Not one member of Staff came over to see what the problem was. We had to tell them we were not paying for it. They should have said we wouldn't be charged. Not even an apology. Absolutely disgusted. Do not waste your hard earned cash in this place. Go to the local chippy instead. And it wasn't just us having problems. The table behind us described their meal as 'an epic fail'.

AVOID. Where to begin, I visited with my family (3 people). The service was terrible. We ordered drinks on arrival, mixers for spirits just handed in an unopened cans one of which had a 90p price and they charged £2.50. They forgot one the spirits. This was the only occasion in 2 hours we were offered drinks. The starters took a long time. Prawn cocktail and scallops (covered in sauce) so all you could taste was sauce, scallops really tiny. Mains took longer, again overloaded with sauce , when we asked for fresh cutlery it was slung on the table in a pile, no fresh serviettes. Service awful could not get anyone’s attention. No one asked if we enjoyed our food which we didn’t and left the majority of it. No one seemed to care that we had a terrible experience. Won’t visit again.

Stayed one night here. Had sea view room.Luke warm welcome when we checked in. View from room was amazing overlooking the beach however unable to open the bathroom door fully as it banged off toilet ....very inconvenient especially during the night. However food was amazing....Well done to the chef!!! Staff were 'ok' Checked out...lady took keys never asked if we enjoyed our stay or if everything was OK for us. This hotel is in a great position and food is good and bed comfy.

Before you die, you need to eat this! Such a wonderful warm welcome with friends including a lovely pup. Cosy, clean, wine at perfect temperature as was the Guinness and the Stella. Food wise a marvellous invention. Amazing! And will be back to see what they've invented next! BTW is loaded fries with roast beef, white pudding, pigs in blankets, gravy, Yorkshire. All to the backdrop of a fab 80s mix!

Location for walking the Moray Coast Trail couldn't have been any better. Right across the street from the beach. Wi-Fi access was great. The burger in the restaurant hit the spot. The staff were run off their feet, but so wonderful.

Gorgeous meal last night. The staff were helpful and polite. Food was delicious and spoilt for choice with the large menu. Gluten free options were excellent too. Thanks very much, we will definitely be back again.
