Great pools and bars and staff is friendly. Very large resort so be ready to walk or wait for a golf cart

The views were beautiful all around the property. However we ran into our fair share of problems throughout the trip. We purchased two suites with jacuzzis on our patio. We found a roach in one of our suites the size of our thumbs. Throughout the trip we were paranoid about a roach coming into one of our belongings. We had a trip with my parents and they're a bit older. Traveling to restuarants or to the pools were a bit difficult because everything is so far away and hilly. We had to wait an average of 10 minutes everytime we called the bell boy for golf carts just to get around the property. I ordered room service and was notifiied that my food would be delievered about an hour later. 2 hours passed and I still didn't receive my food so I called back to find out they had never put my order in. Purchased a spa package from the front desk to find out the spa had no reservation times avaliable. Called the front desk back for a refund, and were told they could no refund us the amount. There was a wedding on the weekend of our trip. We had neighbors that were screaming at the top of their lungs on their patio for 4 hours. Had to call the front desk to ask for help, but nothing changed. The sky pool which is the best part of their property in my opinion was closed for the whole day due to a wedding and we didn't find out until we arrived to the pool. It would have been nice to find out they were closed atleast a day before so we can make some changes to our plans.

Great property! Some of the best resort food we’ve had in a long time. The staff is extremely friendly and provide great service. The rooms are a little older. Only a select few pools are heated not including the kids pool which would have been a nice feature. Overall great experience would for sure go back!

Transportation. Resort was not all inclusive. There are some places asking for money for some liquors brand.

The bell staff and wait staff at the pool area were great. The front desk was not fast and she did not explain upcharges well enough. We ordered 2 junior suites. I requested one room with 2 beds prior to arriving. They did not have that. They put us in a 2 bedroom suite. It was far away from all the amenities. The concierge desk did not answer their phone. It was hard to reach the staff. House keeping forgot to replenish lotion and soap. The room service was good but did not complete all of our order.

They have everything you need. If you want a taxi they have them available 24 hours a day. Also if you want to get suggestions about what are the best local restaurants the staff throughout the resort are extremely helpful.

The views from this hotel are amazing. The service from the hostesses, waiters, the cart drivers and the Spa staff was above and beyond. The executive room we booked was really spacious and the view from the balcony was exceptional, we even saw whales multiple times from the room. The food was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay. Just three things to be aware of are : 1) you cannot swim in this hotel beach but there is a shuttle that takes you to another one where you can swim. 2) we had an issue with one of the bulbs in the kitchen we did ask to get it replaced but that never happened. 3) the kitchens in several restaurants where running behind during peak hours, so you have to be patient.

In my experience, it is a bad sign when the resort only responds to positive reviews. It means they don't really care about your experience. We decided to stay at this resort because we wanted to play the Quivira Golf Course. This large property is a mix of time-shares and hotel rooms on side of a steep hill. It makes for great views, but you cannot realistically walk around and will have to wait for carts to be driven everywhere. The beach is quiet, because guests are not allowed to swim in the ocean due to strong waves. The public areas of the resort (front desk, marketplace, time-share presentation) were well maintained, but the guest rooms where old, poorly ventilated, and in some cases, had leaks and cockroaches. On the third day, while we were golfing, I received a call from management asking us to switch rooms because housekeeping found a leak. When we got back in the evening, we packed all our belongings and moved to the new room . In the morning, we found a leak in the new room. The front desk accused us of lying and only gave us another room after a intense argument. We packed all of our belongs again and moved rooms, only to find another leak in the living room, along with a bonus of cockroaches. We decided to ignore the issues for the last couple of days, since the resort does not really want to help their guests. The food selection and quality was poor. We were on an "all-inclusive" package, but had to pay upgrade charges to access large portions of the menus.

I will start off by saying the staff was truly wonderful the drivers of the golf carts. The waiters at the pool are all kind, helpful and lovely people. The rooms, however, are incredibly dated the beds very uncomfortable the rooms are not clean nor are the hallways. The food by the pool is very good but the food elsewhere is not good and there is very limited options for sitdown restaurants unless you take the bus down to the other hotels which is impossible to get a reservation at.
