카라(Cara)

看介紹有泳池，但泳池其實是在一樓花園餐廳區域，晚上都是當地人來吃飯，誰會在一大幫大笑大鬧到凌晨1點的食客旁邊游泳啊。整個酒店的房間小窗户以及小露台都對着這個花園餐廳，你必須在晚上聆聽這些快樂的尖叫。 我們忘記事先看退房時間，以為12點其實11，OK我們錯，酒店直接來敲門2次，我們已經明確説了再給10分鐘就行在收東西，第2次敲門很不客氣的語氣再門外大叫你們應該離開他們要打掃。OK我多佔用了你房間45分鐘時間我給你們帶來了巨大的麻煩，你就應該嚷嚷我🙄️。 總體無語，翻白眼的程度。 房間小，不好看，一張照片都沒拍。

The hotel is the quite run-down. There is way too much noise from the courtyard restaurant up into the rooms until late st night. It was very difficult to sleep. The rooms are stuffy and even worse because we were trying to keep the windows closed to keep the noise out. There is no elevator so it’s difficult and unsafe to move luggage up the rickety wooden stairs. There is no bellman to hepl move luggage.

Comfortable room but no drawers ,only open hanging area and shelf. Nothing to place suitcases on except bed. Others have complained of noise from the dining area but we didn’t experience any problem. Great bedding and towels.

Great boutique hotel in heart of East Hollywood/Los Feliz with great ambiance, dining options nearby and amazing access to Griffith Observatory. Small but well appointed rooms with high end products and finishes. Staff from reception to valet and housekeeping was exceptional - highly recommend.

We loved the property design and layout. Love the simplicity of the rooms. Only thing is it was loud at night. There was a party of 25 or 30 sitting in a long table right in front of our room. We had to wait until they left at 12:30 and then the staff cleaned up by 1 am we were able to sleep. The staff was very helpful and the girl in the front desk was super accommodating. Afraid this hotel might turn into another party hotel in the area. That would be a shame.

Alex and her entire Team are awesome. The live jazz trio was great. Cuisine and setting perfectly done.

What a fantastic 1st experience at the Cara! A gem of a find in that hood with a quaint boutique ambiance, amicable, helpful and service oriented staff from the valet, ALEX at the reception and all around team lead, Oscar and others at the bar, and wait staff at the fantastic restaurant where the dinner we had was excellent! I will be back!

The Cara Hotel is exceptional! You walk in and are struck by it's style right away, but then when you get to the rooms you are so pleased by how clean and crisp everything is. The rooms are cozy, and the balcony overlooking the courtyard is such a great touch. We loved the restaurant and bar and just about everything. It was so great how it was designed to make you feel like you were in an oasis and that you would never know that you were in urban LA. It is a true gem!

The staff at this property is excellent. The rooms are small and sp****ly equipped compared to others in the area. Walking at night is not really an option here. Parking is an expensive pain, but is run by a valet company not part of hotel. An in room coffee maker instead of a ridiculous amount of very expensive snacking would be appreciated.
