We had a lovely stay. We went to a Motown show which was great. The room was lovely, everything we needed and the food and service was excellent. The receptionist on arrival was very welcoming. The pianist in the foyer was also a nice touch. Overall a very pleasant experience and we would stay again.

Just back from a 2 night stay which was for my husbands special birthday. We had a wonderful stay. First time staying here and would definitely stay again if down in Londonderry. One of the most relaxing stays we have had. The decor and atmosphere is lovely and the food and service excellent. All the staff were helpful and attentive. Too many to mention individually as everyone we had contact with was lovely. Just a lovely restful break. Thanks to everyone.

This was our third stay over the last couple of years, and we can’t wait for the next. There’s lots to rave about — the gorgeous rooms, the heavenly mattresses, the relaxing atmosphere, the outrageously yummy breakfasts, the convenient location just a riverside stroll (or quick cab) from the city. But the single thing that keeps us coming back is the people. Always smart and professional, but with such genuine warmth. The whole team really seem to enjoy working there, and it makes such a difference. If we had to pick fault with one thing: the Guinness is a teeny bit steep! But when it’s served with such charm — and a hearty sláinte! — you really don’t begrudge it. Thank you, Team Everglades. You made this trip the best yet. See you soon.

My wife and I enjoyed yet another relaxing stay at the Everglades Hotel, Derry. The staff combine efficiency with genuine friendliness. The accommodation is always clean with the most comfortable beds that we have slept in. It is only a 30 minute walk to Derry and the Walled City and many attractions.

Great hotel! Did not disappoint. Have stayed in other Hastings hotels and was very glad to find that the Everglades has the same amazingly comfortable beds as the others. Food was great, staff are helpful and friendly, rooms were very clean and well appointed, perfect for a family stay. Location is a little bit out of town, but we had checked this before booking and were pleased to find that the walk into town was not as long as we thought and really very pleasant. Only about 30mins and along a lovely route that takes in the river. Thank you for a wonderfull stay, we will definitely be back as soon as possible.

Over rated online. Staff is unfriendly and lless than willing to help. Everything closes at 9pm for food. Nothing opens until 7am in the morning. Rooms are small and no amenities on property such as spa or fitness center For the price you can get better in Derry close to downtown.

Stayed here for two nights. Check in was quick and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size, clean, as was the bathroom. At around 5am each morning some sort of heating system??? kicks in which starts off with a loud persistant knocking sound which lasts about 5 minutes. Very strange and it woke us both mornings. Breakfast was lovely with a fabulous selection of hot food and continental items. We ate both nights at the hotel restaurant. First night we had a 10 minute wait at the entrance for a table. The restaurant was catering to what looked like a tour group but wasn't overly busy. A member of staff (guy wearing glasses in a dark suit) saw us waiting, ignored us and walked passed several times. We were eventually seated by a lovely staff member who couldn't have been more accomodating. Had afternoon tea, was tasty but wasn't overly impressed as the afternoon tea advertised was not what we received. All in all it was a nice, comfortable stay but don't think we would return.

(Room: 209) Stayed here for two nights to visit Londonderry, the hotel was busy but welcoming and our room comfortable. However, sadly realised we were facing a main road and the traffic noise was constant which affected our sleep and we were unable to have the window open due to this which made the room stuffy. We were a disappointed with the restaurant as although the meals were satisfactory, they were not great as we had experienced in hotels of the same chain. The staff, although mostly helpful and attentive, seemed inexperienced (younger staff) and we had great difficulty on one evening getting the bill correct (3 attempts). The breakfasts in the restaurant were poor, the cooked selection was luke warm and the continental did not look fresh at all. Overall, disappointed and will not be returning. Compared to other hotels in the Hastings chain e.g. Ballygally Castle Hotel.

We only stayed one night here but were very impressed by this hotel. It was beautifully decorated, staff was attentive and helpful. Dining was delicious, we had a bowl of seafood chowder. Rooms were comfortable and we had a long window seat in our room. Close to downtown, parking on premises.
